Wonder why they're splitting the casts and making it even more confusing between esl's site and gltv.

Why is A1 meet B2, and B1 meet A2 but in Group C and D C1 meets D1 and C2 meets D2 ? Someone explain the logic.

Demuslim vs Dimaga: Demuslim should win this. Tarson vs MadFrog: Good chances for MadFrog. Sarens vs Idra: I don't know who Sarens is, I was hoping there'd be a vod of Sarens today but instead they chose to have two vods of HasuObs, go figure. Sarens would have to be extremely good to be able to beat Idra.

It's been discussed earlier in the thread. I'm not sure there were any conclusive answer. Someone claimed Sarans didn't win his group based on the head to head with Dimaga. This seems to be to the contrary to the standings on all sites. The more likely answer, that several people heard being said on the stream, were that the playoff match-ups was semi random. But I didn't see anyone know for sure how it worked, or maybe I just missed it.

Here's the scoring: http://www.esl-world.net/masters/season5/gamescom/sc2/groupstage/rankings/ TLO with his perfect 6-0 of course got first seed. Idra's performance of 6:2 is 2nd best so he got 2nd seed. Sarens got 5:3, and Dimaga got 4:4.

Sarens would have to be extremely good to be able to beat Idra. I'm hold a finger on Morrow. TBH people need to start masturbating over Dario. Hes excellent, but as stated Morrow is very very strong in TvT. This one is probably more 40\60 than 50\50. Tho TLO always has a trick up his sleave to even it out when odds arent favouring him. DeMuslim vs Dimaga, No matter how badly I want Dimaga to take this one home, it smells of a Terran win here. Dimaga at his best is a beast, but he has shown so many times this tourney already that his level of focus and ability to play a long game is rather weak. Tho when he does it good, its near perfection. Tarson will beat Madfrog. Even tho I'm rooting for Madfrog again I think Terran will be to strong in a BO3. Sarens vs Idra. Idra win all the way, but I feel kinda sad for Saren, he seems excellent. Very few knew who he was comming in, but has really proven himself. If IdrA plays half as good as he did at times today he will take it. Cannot see an upset here.

There must be some seeding as IdrA is probably seeded as 1, and Saren as relativly unknown last. Still I can't see the logic here at all.

Logically it would be Dimaga vs Idra and Demuslim vs Sarens in either case.

No that wouldn't make sense, because if the head to head is the tie breaker, Strelok would have advanced over demuslim no? Edit: Naniwa did win over Strelok, so what I said above would not apply as it was a three way tie. So in that case you are right it seems like it would be the most logical scenario. Although that wouldn't explain why several people heard on the stream it was semi-random. Maybe they were talking about something else and people got confused.
