Had to download the hotkey-file again. I used TheCore PRM, somewhat recent version.

rapid fire mule is pretty bad, its mostly in there for the lulz. Ideally you are selecting the correct patches and dropping each mule down on each patch individually. @beede make it happen, sounds good. @moss StarBow is not all set for 2.0. Are you using 2.0 or 1.0?

Centrifugal Hooks on RRM 2.0 doesn't seem to follow the coherence between speed upgrades. It's on S/;, while the speed-upgrade for Hydralisks, Roaches and Zerglings are on W/P. I remember we talked about putting all speed upgrades on S/;, because W/P is taken up by Select Larvae, which means Pneumatized Glands for Overlords can't follow the pattern. The issue with this, however, is that S/; on the Hydralisk Den is bound Grooved Spines, which is also the key for Hydralisks. IMO, we're best off keeping the hydra connection, while keeping Overlord speed out (i.e. speed on W/P). It is more efficient because speed upgrades get moved to the homerow, and it also ensures no accidental Overlord speed, while spamming hydras with no larvae. Robotics Facility unit priority The priority for both Zerg and Random as of 2.0 is currently Observer(homerow), Warp Prism(homerow), Immortal, Colossus I'd argue that Warp Prism is overrated. A Warp Prism's incremental value is quite low. It's a pure support unit like the Viper. It has no direct combat value, only indirect (no damage dealt). When have you needed 1 Warp Prisms? 2? 3? 4? 8? If you're going to keep a very limited number of Warp Prisms at any time, then I'd say that at least Immortals should be prioritized over them in a world without meta-gaming. Meta-gaming in mind, they seem in general always to have been built less than Colossus, not too sure about Immortals though. Edit Question: Why does the homerow have a keyscore at all, if there's no attribute (Reach, Knuckle separation, etc.) it gets its score from? On the topic of keyscore, a question I asked in this post haven't seen a response :p http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/sc2-strategy/341878-thecore-advanced-keyboard-layout?page=339#6767

is there any of the keysets (blue, red, orange etc.) for T becoming appearent to be the one released in 2.0? (I'm back after a long break and want to learn the most optimised hotkey layout straight away. :-) ) And one meta-question: Is there a wiki about TheCore on the way?

For T 2.0, Red, Orange and Purple are all strong contenders, and it will likely be one of them (95% sure). Personally, my guess is that red will be picked. But that decision still awaits a long nice discussion. No wiki is on the way, as far as I know.

I'm doing my best to delegate the workload so that it can get done by the rest of the team, so it'll be up to all of us when it finishes. So you spend time advertising for inefficiently used resources instead of making a tool to make my APM more efficient! You should be ashamed of such a poor time management Jakatak! May you get hand cramps and get only Protoss opponents from now on!

I'm using 1.0 (actually I can't download 2.0 cause that DropBox folder is empty, I thought it hadn't been released yet?). Sorry for late reply

I really like the fact that add to control groups is cntl+<key>. (I'm using TLM). I can rally my different units to one spot. Lets say I have marines, marauders, tanks, and medivacs all in one big clump. I can hold down the control key, click a marine which selects all of the marines, then the key for the control group I want them to be in. Rinse and repeat for the other units. In four clicks and four key strokes I have my control groups set up. Very nice! I also like shift+cntr+<key> to create a group since that isn't necessary very often usually only when I've added something to a group by mistake and I need to remove it. The only way I know how to do that is to clean up the group and then "create" the group fresh. I just started this quest. I was playing a slightly modified standard layout with a right handed mouse. But I'm really left handed. So I switched everything all at once and now playing left handed mouse with the core TLM. I had been at Very Hard against the AI (and gold on the ladder although I was a very weak gold). I lost two games with Very Hard and the game dropped me down to Harder which I won (on my third game using the new system). It says my APM is 24 while my average was 25/26 but it feels like I'm down around 6... everything is very awkward but that doesn't worry me. Thank you to all... this is going to be an adventure!

I have been using my own shoddily constructed and modified version of the core, as I have not been able to find the folder to save the core hockey document into. I use a mac, the instructions on how to find the file to save it in are different to the actual folders on my computer. When I go under my starcraft folder, there is no "accounts" subfolder. Any help on how to get to the hockey document pages would be much appreciated.

Go to the Replays* section in the SC2 client. 2. Click the "Show in Folder" button in the top right. A window should open in your OS. 3. Go up three folders. 4. Open the "Hotkeys" folder and place the file there.

On the hotkey page I cannot find a "show in folder". There might be a difference with my computer though, as I am on a mac.

Select the CG with the units you want to remove 2. ctrl+shift click the a unit portrait in the unit list of the cg -> all units of that type get deselected. 3. ctrl+shift+# (=key of the CG) to recreate the CG without the deselected units. hf gl
