I got this layout down pat a few months ago in about 10 days and loved it now I'm considering trying to use it with WoW and GW2

The best layout hasn't been found yet because it's a big puzzle to set the best parameters to most effectively evolve the layout It's one of my goals to work on eventually Also plz answer about the WASD thing currently converting the layout to WoW, but there's several options for movement direction buttons I'm probably going to keep it in the WASD formation as OKL:

Also, I think Workman is going to be my best bet: http://viralintrospection.wordpress.com/2010/09/06/a-different-philosophy-in-designing-keyboard-layouts/ Not to derail the thread too much, but what do you think?

go with whichever has more comfortable bigraphs for you I personally kinda have a strange irrational dislike of colemak because it's becoming more popular and I don't want it to become the new QWERTY rather than an optimal evolved layout that takes bigraphs and alternate-finger trigraphs into account (none do this yet so far, and they're how the fastest typist in the world is able to do what he does with QWERTY)

I use to use a nostromo n52 (razer orbweaver is it's new name) for WoW.

Select Hero Select All Select All - Hero And that works for me (not high level play at all). for WASD games I use POIL for right, up, left, and down respectively. I keep most abilities/spells on the ability side of the layout (since I mostly play Sc2 and this is easiest for me) even though its not optimal for most games. For games without control groups, I use the CG side of the layout for menus and such things to keep things consistent for my Sc2 play.

One problem I have is that my pinky and ring fingers don't move independently very well. If I keep my pinky in place I can barely move my ring fingers to the key above resting. I'm going to look at the small layout, using TRM now. I'm going to play with the camera settings and try moving them to the side of my Razer Naga.

Thanks for sharing that. Its not something that I think is smart to patch right away (unless there's an improvement we can make), because it seems like mostly human error.

With that in mind, I'm not really sure I like the idea of playing with tilted keyboard and everything on the left side. Would you recommend getting the core and just trying and learning it, or maybe getting chameleon instead? I just have this gut feeling that left side and tilted keyboard is weird somehow, maybe it's just misguided and my years of playing with standard setup mostly everywhere. Is there any benefits to the core that chameleon doesn't have? Thanks a lot for all the work you put into both of the layouts and community in general, keep it up!
