Getting gas is barely going to delay your third at all, but getting gas earlier might mean you can actually defend it and not lose.
I mean you could be really economical and go 15 CC 19 CC but it would be stupid.

I need help I'm assuming you're talking about TvT since you're trying to delay your opponent's siege tanks. Siege tanks are a solid unit because marines are a solid unit. In TvT, Siege tanks complement the enormous DPS of marines with splash damage and space control. If you want to just straight-up marine rush a guy, there are a couple builds that hit before normal tank timings: 3 racks cheese http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=223517 6 racks cheese http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=156256 Both of these are unashamed, unbashful cheeses. To win tankless in the midgame/lategame, you will need MKPs micro, which the average bro does not have. On January 11 2012 08:04 Willzzz wrote: Just because MKP does something doesn't mean you should blindly copy him. Unless your game sense is as good as his, you can read your opponent perfectly and micro like a boss then play according to what fits your style. I mean you could be really economical and go 15 CC 19 CC but it would be stupid. Wiillzzz knows what's up. THERE IS ONE OTHER WAY, HOWEVER. This build order is like a year old, but it revolutionized TvT and I still see it on the ladder from time to time. iEchoic's 2fact 2port TvT http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=189624 Hellion Viking Banshee. You need control like unto the gods, but this still works. It's harder, now, with the blue flame nerf, but it still works.

Do as much as you can with the marauder to occupy them, even do a 2 mara 1 scv poke, and make a reaper to go in the back later to scout to check for cloakshees. Just float rax back, make 2 more, and get fac + 2nd gas if they tech. Raven + viking is much better against cloakshee than turrets, IMO.

Try to use your hellions to poke him and see what his composition is-- if you see a lot of roaches, he will have appropriately fewer mutalisks. That being said, it could be a map-dependent or other issue.

I do my standard 3rax rush (bronze league btw), and end up losing to a stalker/zealot/colossus. what should i do? Stalker+zealot+colossus is so strong.

Use orbital commands to have a small food advantage on him, and be aggressive. Landing EMPs are important, and so is having the right number of vikings. Have extra starports, and don't be afraid to throw away your vikings if he's doing an archon/HT switch. This is a matchup determined by how effectively you counter his tech units with your tech units.

Stalker+zealot+colossus is so strong. We'll need a replay to understand better what exactly is happening. I can't offer any advice other than that vikings are the traditional counter to colossus unless I can get a replay or more detail.

I need help Yes it is possible but not recommended You have to do so much more than the Marine Tank player imo. You need to exploit the slow siege tanks so drop everywhere with your medivacs. (I would target Refineries, Techlabs/Reactors, Upgrades and SCVs. Standard I know xD ) and Scan his army a lot when he is attacking you, in order to see if he unsieges his tanks... also flanks are really good. Also you need to have an upgrade lead so get them asap and expand a lot. If it goes to the late game you have to switch either into Tanks as well or air. (Probably you kind of need tanks in the mid game as well.) But again its really hard and I would just use tanks ![]() Players I would recommend you to watch are Clide and Cloud. They have really good bio into mech play...

Shall I halt the production and continue to build with a worker on full health ? What's the most efficient way ? If your worker starts getting to mid-low level health then simply pull it off building and attack the harassing worker. After the harass worker either dies or runs away, put the healthier scv back on the rax and briefly repair any injured worker if you need to.

Stalker+zealot+colossus is so strong. I mean a 3rax is pretty all-in. I would maybe go with a 2 rax and expand. http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/2_Rax_Pressure_(TvP) But you should post a few replays somewhere so we can actually see what the problem is exactly.

You get a nice marine attack at 7-8 minutes if your opponent is being greedy (or stupidly lost his first couple stalkers). Your 10-11 minute attack is extremely strong and you can take your third behind it probably before protoss can hold his. Then you can drop and upgrade and macro and just never let protoss breathe or get anything going. This is the matchup I do best in right now. Wish I had a build that let me play so solidly in every matchup. :p
