thanks so much for getting them on the SEA servers. i've been hurting ever since my fav 1v1 Obs Xel'Naga Caverns disappeared from SEA. ![]() | ||

SEA shortly. forgot to check which five maps were already available on SEA last night - only remember Bel'Shir Beach, XNC and Metalopolis. more 2v2 (or 3v3 even?) maps would be nice. how about High Orbit? :D also, is there a way to follow a specific player's camera from obs? | ||

- There currently is no feature to follow a player's camera. I will look into adding this. - I'm glad you mentioned team play...so far this doesn't seem as popular as I was hoping, but I can do 3v3 if there is enough demand in the player community. I added Monlyth Ridge, Gutterhulk, and High Orbit as 2v2 maps. CURRENT MAP POOL: --- - GSL Bel'Shir Beach (1v1) - iCCup Deity (1v1) - Xel'Naga Caverns (1v1) --- - Shattered Temple (1v1 or 2v2) - Metalopolis (1v1 or 2v2) - Shakuras Plateau (1v1 or 2v2) - Slag Pits (1v2 for 2v2) --- - Gutterhulk (2v2) - Monlyth Ridge (2v2) - High Orbit (2v2) NA and EU are up to date; SEA will follow shortly. | ||

kadtz: I re-sent the 2v2 maps to my SEA publisher and he is saying that they are working correctly now. FYI, I recently switched Gutterhulk, Monlyth Ridge, and High Orbit to "2v2 only" due to placement of start locations. Shakuras Plateau is more playable as 2v2 and FFA even though it's suited best for 1v1, so that's why it has so many more Match Mode options. At this point, there are 3 classes of maps: - 1v1 only - best for 1v1 but okay for 2v2/FFA - 2v2 only | ||

- should probably allow choosing race in the map lobby (for the game interface and sound pack) - friend & foe color option (Alt-F) is disabled, so with some team colors (like cyan on a blueish map) it's really hard to see on the minimap - in-game chat doesn't show when game is paused, hard to tell when to resume safely - any way to enable shared control for team games? - can you provide an option to disable the camera spinning when someone gg's? ![]() - betting seems to be buggy - someone bet on me and 'broke even' when i won | ||

- That's an interesting idea but you can always go random or switch races once inside the game and switching UI style once game has started is impossible - I'll look into enabling Alt-F for match competitors - Unfortunately nothing I can do about chat not showing when game is paused ![]() - Shared control for team games...definitely possible but not sure if that's a good thing? When your teammate dies, you can then control his units - If no one bet against your friend who bet on you, he'd have no one to pull funds from, thus breaking even ![]() | ||

kadtz: (1) I will look into adding shared control during team play. Would you envision this as the default option (always shared control) or something selectable/votable? (2) I will look into Race UI selection from the lobby vincom2: I based the betting system on the most popular observer map on NA (1v1 Obs Xel'Naga) and overall I think it works well. It offers a balance of simplicity and decent likelihood that more chips will change hands than if you could switch who you were betting on after initial selection. See Help system in-game for better explanation. vincom2/W2: I will look into ability to follow player cams Ryhn: Your map linking suggestion is a good one! I will look into this...that would be a great feature. | ||

(NA/EU live, SEA shortly) - Select UI style by selecting race in the lobby - Select player color in the lobby - Observers can follow player cams (see "Observe Everyone" pulldown during match) - Cooperative unit control is a votable Option - Volume of game sounds stay consistent when camera is zoomed - Enforcement of diagonal start points for 1v1 games on Shattered Temple and Starparty V NEW MAP! - Starparty V [iCCup] ...more updates in the works... | ||
