I don't think there ever was a real discussion, only alot of Flash fans claiming that he was becoming a Bonjwa...
edit well flash has been hovering around 80-85% winrate for almost a year now.

Jaedong at #2 after getting knocked out of the OSL? I dunno man, I definitely feel that he is still top 2 most skilled player when he doesn't screw up, but he has been too inconsistent lately. Light should still be #2 if he qualifies for the OSL Ro16 IMO.
EDIT: Too slow :p

This loss doesn't really take anything away from Light except that he knows himself that he is a worse player than Flash.

80% for half a year (5 months really, since there where no games in September) and 75% for the last year. Still crazy though.

Next PL is going to have exactly the same one-line reason for Flash's #1.

Jaedong's WL performance today is a strong argument to keep #2. While it wasn't quite enough to make up for his WL and OSL performance earlier this month, it shows that he doesn't accept his slump.

Oh i must have done a misscalculation then, ill do it again. Maybe I did something wrong in the Bo5 vs Jaedong Since last july he's at 80-18 which is 82% (81.6)
Also I didn't notice todays results from jaedong. I don't think light will take second place unless he keeps up his good play for the entire month.

Very close between JD and Light for #2, but imo JD should still get it.

lol you count Flash's elimination by Kwanro? :p

I just chose the no-two-consecutive-losses (except for Jaedong) streak. But you're right, the set against July should probably be considered the actual turning point, after his disastrous elimination from both the OSL and MSL.

It definitely was. His TvZ started looking out of his world right there, I watched that series live and I was like how does he keep on defending July who is macroing so well and swarming everywhere, great series, the 3-0 makes it look one sided and doesn't do it justice. Ever since then his TvZ just clicked and his TvP clicked soon after. Right now he is pretty much at Bonjwa(or dare I say even higher if you count Savior/Boxer) level dominance, but history only remembers the winners, and all that will matter at the end is the SLs he picks up, and who will overshadow who between him and Jaedong.

How can you even consider jaedong at #2, he lost to baby 2:0 in OSL, he lost to darkelf, DARKELF, modesty, and light who is almost undefeated this month. Overall his play wasnt that good at all..

If light keeps this up id gladly see him take the second spot but if jaedong is back as we saw today he might defend it. Still a long way to april.

Light still has to qualify for osl later this month. That is what will decide 2nd place in my mind. Glad Jaedong all killed today, especially after he got eliminated by baby.

Apperently Flash went 79-1 in TvT practicing for this match. Poor fOrGG.

So I hope that after last night that silly discussion regarding Flash and Light will end. Flash just proved yet again that he is the only one worthy top spot in PR.
A more fierce competition should be for 2nd spot. Both Light and Jaedong have a good shot. I would give Light an edge here because he is performing better recently than JD and he won against him. But there are still many games to be played and we will see if Light can keep playing at his current level.

I have a feeling that light is going to start slumping, considering how he lost his last game vs flash
