And considerably more money in the NA streaming scene. The only thing holding NA back is work ethic, there is no inherent reason why others teams are better than them

I assume he's just going by how it always tends to happen in gaming. Asians > EU > US is kind of what most games tend to gravitate to. Korea is more or less going to pull further and further ahead because LoL's standing as the premier E-sport in Korea right now affords it the greatest access to a fresh talent pool. LoL doesn't have the same kind of standing China, and other places in Asia don't have as large of a player pool to begin with.

I feel like a lot of fans only know about Sword/Blaze/Frost because they go to the foreign events but LGIM, KTB, Shield, OP, KT A and probably a few others are all at least competitive with those three teams. Hell, KTB is pretty unknown but they have been destroying everyone in OGN so far.

Where you folks see forever crushed I see glimmers of hope. maybe not at ipl5 but to say the NA scene will never be able to retake it's former glory is in my opinion ignorant to those glimmers of hope. I am hopeful.*shrug* Well I do hope they upset history but at this stage it's happened in enough titles to warrant the doubt.

Not at all surprising that they look much stronger now that they have had adequate time to play together. They already looked incredible individually at Worlds, it was just their team cohesion that was a little lacking. Their drafts as well. The new lineup more or less hadn't adjusted to a playstyle suitable to Fzzf/Clearlove yet, so by and large they were often picking FotM heroes/lineups that didn't work well together and didn't play comfortably for the team's playstyle. Misaya Ori and Caomei Irelia are indicative of this. The draft problem was exacerbated by the fact that the team had to play more than the 3 planned drafts, so they totally had to wing it when it came to champ select for the 4th game.
