Smash, do you run 21/0/9 with your runepage or do you run something more conservative? Also whenever I try out builds w/o flat mana runes I tend to feel that the first run through jungle is that much slower due to the inability to stance dance, did anyone else feel that is an issue especially when you are forced to react to early lane troubles?

i run 21/0/9. With my setup, I need less stances because I beat the crap out of everything without stance dancing.

i run 1/16/13 on udyr with armorpen and attspeed runes and i havent seen a faster jungler yet. lvl 4 before warwick, ganks like rammus. i guess u can optimize the runes, but since i play a tanky udyr the masteries seem perfect.

ok thanks guys, Ive been playing Udyr without some of the ad runes, and I have been doing pretty well for myself, still need to finish buying as seals.

Tiger Stance, 21/0/9, AD marks and quints. What about your seals and glyphs? Both AS, or do you take some mana regen?

Tiger stance is brutal now. People always joked that Udyr was just a "faceroll qwer and kill people" hero, and I'd counter joke that "Nah never press Q just wer".

But now it deals some sick deeps.

He does suck at fighing early on compared to before though cos wriggle tiger obviously not as strong as Phoenix HoG for skirmishes. Much more passive farming and then own later on.

I disagree, the tiger DOT hits reaally hard with just a little +dmg from razors/lantern. Not to mention his omfg tower killing speed. If you get a double kill while ganking bot - you WILL destroy their tower.

not counting runes or masteries, level 5 Udyr with a wriggle does a bonus 286 damage from tiger ontop of the attack itself which does 92. Phoenix does 130 every 3 attacks + 26/second. Phoenix AoE is nice and all, but fact of the matter is that it's not going to focus down a single target at even close to the same speed as Tiger, even at level 1.

I'm complaining about his early game squish vs burst damage yo. Old udyr could get away with whole lot more with those early tank items. Tiger farms good and scales good but I felt likes fucking shaco or yi when fighting before catalyst.

If you're complaining about burst damage, you gotta look at udyr's own burst lol
its pretty ridiculous, esp because he isn't ult dependent
not as if the other heroes you mentioned didn't have "early game squish" either
pre 6 i doubt that shaco or yi could hold a candle to udyr.

with tiger, turtle, and bear (barring starting at half health or something) udyr should NOT lose to any jungler in a 1v1 situation except a shaco with box traps or an olaf with his ulti and blue at most any point in the game

Iono, udyr has to eat the burst before dishing out his own cos he runs face first to fight. anyways I need more games with udyr. I have already felt how strong lategame udyr is, but I just felt like I didn't do jack against any mobile or bursty carry and I couldn't tank them either QQ.
