Yeah, stunbot udyr has been working best for me in teamfights. I've been building wit's end on him after omen and banshees/quicksilver, for faster bear stuns and just because i have no idea what to build once my core is done.
Udyr can carry so hard. I occasionally pull off two ganks at level 4, and most of the time i'll give the kills to whoever is in lane. After that it's usually smooth sailing with either one or two lanes snowballing out of control or me continually putting up pressure.

I haven't personally tried it out but I assume stunbot/mana burning Udyr would work well with Bear and Tiger maxxed. Seems a little gimmicky and amusing.

Mana burn seems almost silly. You have nothing to poke with and while you get the ASPD steroid from tiger/passive it really isn't going to amount to much if you're trying to stun everyone.
How do on hit effects interact with tiger anyways? Does it proc three times?

uh, i thot they changed tiger so it doesnt do the 3hit business anymore.
and in any case, at the point where it did do the 3hit nonsense, crits applied, but onhit effects only applied to the first one, and there were issues with the onhit effect's damage being cut to 1/3 what it is supposed to be.
edit: also, why is 'poking' a requirement for running wits end, i routinely get confused by that, its like making the assumption that it is impossible to hit anyone with melee-range autoattacks while they have mana

In the situations where it's necessary, Wit's End on a melee champ is probably better than no Wit's End at all, but if you have the choice, IMO I'd much rather have your ranged carry get Wit's End than one of your melees (and do you really need two Wit's Ends?). Of course, I might be too accustomed to premade games where if I say "hey, we need someone to get Wit's End", someone will actually do it.

I've been trying the new tigerudyr jungle, and I'm getting way too low. Going: Blue>Wolves>Wraiths>Red>Minigolem (almost 0 hp) AS reds, flat armor seals, MR/lvl blues MS quints, 1/14/15 or something like that.
Can someone explian how to do it correctly? That tiger thingy hits so hard.

From the General thread, Smash mentioned damage marks/quints and attack speed blues/yellows with a 21/0/9 build is really good for tigerdyr full jungle clear with enough health to gank afterwards. Don't have the runes to try it out myself though.

Updated OP. After playing 5-6 games with Tiger Udyr, I feel it's time to retire Phoenix.

So are the as marks/quints with armor seals working better for you than the AD Marks/Quints. AS seals/glyphs..
Im missing a few runes for the AD set up, and i want to play Udyr again, so if the AS marks/quints are working well that would b cool :D

This amount of mana regen suggests that if they steal your blue you are fucked

I've actually haven't used AD runes before (don't own any). Smash's Udyr page is AD Quints/Red, AS Blue/Yellow like you said. I had an old AS Jungle page which I still use and it works fine with me. So I technically can't tell you which is "better" since I've only tried my setup.

It happens (enemy team with Blitz camping your Golem, hurr hurr free Blitz week) but Udyr isn't that mana intensive. You don't really need to stance dance while you jungle regular camps, only Blue or Red. You can open Tiger for the burst and take down the big wraith, big wolf, or a golem, then switch to Turtle to leech back some hp/mp.

Could someone please explain the basics of Udyr? I never played him before so I have no idea when exactly to use which skill (especially while in jungle). In what order and with which timings do you switch stances optimally? Please go into detail, explain every single step :p

Neo pretty much summed it all up already. "You don't really need to stance dance while you jungle regular camps, only Blue or Red. You can open Tiger for the burst and take down the big wraith, big wolf, or a golem, then switch to Turtle to leech back some hp/mp."

Still leaves some stuff open: When I do stance dance, in which order? How long do I stay in each stance? When I'm doing say Wraiths, do I keep Tiger on until the big one dies, do I switch a bit earlier, or maybe later? After a fixed time?

You alternate between Tiger (DPS) and Turtle (Tank, to keep your HP up and minor hp leech). Bear is only used for ganking. You stay in each stance for as long as possible without having your passive elapse and reset. Focus down the hardest monster first (big wraith, big wolf, a golem) then use turtle to regen hp/mp back.

do you ever feel like you need the 2nd point for buff duration?

I don't think you NEED the 2nd point in buff duration, but it is of course helpful to have so do whatever you feel comfortable with.

To not beat around the bush, no. I don't ever feel like I need that second point in Utility Mastery. Just keep an eye on your buff duration and gank/farm accordingly.
I'll concede that Smash's rune page is much more specialized for Udyr, specifically Tigerdyr. My page is much more generic.
