The difference is that ZLS1's suggestions are on TL, and Avilo isn't on here as frequently. ZLS1 if you're reading this, have you considered posting on Blizzard's forums? I remember both Nony and me at separate points reminding people that discussing "game balance" or "game design" is better on Blizzard's forums, since TL is a community site.

Where is the answer "postioning on a map". Yes you can argue "we have tactics and strategies", whatever - this is different. We had A LOT OF positioning at BW and we have ALMOST ZERO at LotV.

I just want to point out that macro and mechanics take a lot of thinking too. planning how to execute them, what hotkeys to use, when to go through your cycle etc etc etc is a big part of the beauty that is sc2.

That said, even though I play Protoss and I feel it's the weakest of the three rn, I've got hope. Protoss was ridiculously UP before they took out the Warhound, but then we got the Golden Age of Protoss!

I think the two most important things are at the end :
- focus on players instead of viewers. Make a game first, with the SC brand it will turn into an e-sport without an effort.

I just want forcefields gone. they hinder mapdesign and race design so much. Im still nog a big fan of protoss in lotv even though things have been changed quite a lot.
Forcefields is such a boring no-brainer part of the gameplay. it promotes everything thats bad with sc2 (deathballs and lack of countermicro).
I dont understand why blizzard are so stuck in "one unit to counter them all" kind of thinking. We wanted stronger gateway units so they mash all the GW-strength into an Adept rather than buffing zealots and stalkers with TC buffs to the point where they can trade efficiently without having to deathball.
Zerg needed better anti-air, now instead of giving queens a speedbuff at hive-tech, removing corruptors and replace them with scourge or buffing their attackspeed so PDDS wont fuck with them and give hydras a healthbuff at hive they introduce the "KILL ALL THE AAAIIIIR"-parasitic bomb.
This is yet again a mark of bad design.

He comes from the Official Bnet Forums that is the big problem here. Thankfully TL doesn´t tolerate constant balance whining.

I've played 300 games this season, all mech, and I'm really loving LotV. I know I'm going to be near alone here, but I voted Protoss as the strongest race, at least vs me since I mech. Adepts early game are sick, and I don't think anything can beat protoss air late game. Just my opinion or feeling. If I played bio I'm sure I'd feel a little differently, but I honestly can't say.
I like the economy, I'm a little sad about the removal of macro changes, but I'll at least give it a shot.

I don't see a problem with forcefield to be honest, this is not Wings of Liberty anymore. The introduction of speedmedivacs in HoTS was already a nice way to save units and play around forcefields for terrans, and now with the ravager Zerg have both a unit that can attack above the forcefield and destroy them, then in late game there is the lurkers.
