When you're still laning that much of a burst of speed can be used just purely as a gap closer from brush to brush and starting with an E instead of having to rocket grab. I mean in practice I could be wrong, but reading it it certainly seems to me like it'll be great in lane. Tbh I think it's reversed. In lane it's more likely 2's will punish lack of cooldowns and the slow significantly more than if you're grouped as 5.

I suppose I'll actually amend. I shouldn't use it as a late game comment, but more of the mid game. If you're roaming around as blitz in the mid game the speed boost might help on a gank but if you're ever actually counter-ganked or caught roaming the slowdown and shorter duration if used while cc'd will basically spell your death. Late game the quick speed boost can obviously be the factor of landing a hook or not which will certainly be for the better, whereas the slow shouldn't matter much since if you're getting focused the fight is probably already over.

Or is the Cleaver armour reduction during your ult too good? I can see a good case for either Yomuu's or BC on Fiora, but I don't play her so any insights would be cool. I hope Riot doesn't go overboard nerfing tanks. Competitive play has been really fascinating lately (solo queue be damned) - even if it is only because we are seeing different stuff. It wasn't like other junglers just fell off either, they still popped up. Maybe it was happening slightly less than is desirable, but it was hardly panic stations IMO. Hopefully there will still be a good mix. Riot takes the super lame yet predictable move of reducing damage on Rek'sai and increasing her Mobility to make up for it -_-

She's gonna have a pretty beefy shield (from her passive) at this point in the game, will stick to the ADC due to Phage passive, AND be dealing basically true damage with Cleaver passive and her Armor shred debuff from W. And she'll be able to do that at nearly every team fight. At 15-20 minutes she'd be able to almost 100-0 him (do it if ahead) if she builds straight-up damage instead, especially if it includes a Sheen. The value comes later, when she doesn't deal enough damage, because BC's passive sucks if your damage is frontloaded (Vi's is, with her W application being the 4th instance of damage, ult and loaded Q likely to be in the first 3). I'd keep building Warrior on her, but I'm afraid Cinderhulk outscales her damage too fast (also building full tank you become too resilient for her to "assassinate" you pretty fast, the danger being the lack of MR so she still works in pick-offs but not in duels). If you want ArPen+CDR you can stop at brutaliser, and if you're planning on carrying and killing people LW is better for that. A "cute" Hydra-BC build to shred the team is still worse for you and I don't think Fiora should play as a "I'll take one for the team" champ (contrary to Pantheon when he stops being able to dive in 1v3 and still kill someone and live long enough for the teamto come, or Wukong who's initiating and still a threat/utility provider even when behind).

-50HP +50g and Gromp nerf all sound pretty mean for our dear unkillable junglers.

I play top lane very rarely but honestly the matchup felt quite easy - trades were pretty much even early on and post revolver I could just push him in all day and never let him have any map pressure. What's your trick to winning the matchup?

Imagine a Mundo with sustain, ranged autos and who's hard to kill even pre-6. Not really. Riven has a rough time lvl1-2, can kill him lvl3, gets wrecked lvl4-5, and wins level 6-11. After lvl12, it becomes very build reliant, but usually Riven still has the advantage. The vlad match-up is pretty weird for a lot of champions : - He's ranged and has a ranged nuke, so he's got lvl1 advantage over most melee. - He's got sustain, so he's got an advantage over heroes with low damage - He's got the troll pool, so he has a small edge against skillshot-reliant champions, especially if those skillshots have a long CD Harass-reliant heroes have trouble keeping up with him, but burst-reliant heroes have a pretty good laning phase since if he pools you usually get a free all-in 10s later.

I find being fearless is the best counter to Vlad, if you let him sustain for ages he'll outpush and outtrade you. If you either chunk him low in a single trade or roam his sustain isn't all that great.

I'm a little bummed the Brutalizer build path is getting less diverse, but then again, it's an extra path for phage so.. Guess we just need more items...

I didn't know smiting Gromp gave you a mini-thornmail even though I was playing nearly only Jungle for a few weeks. Doesn't matter, still 82% win rate on Shyvana and 75% on Seju lololopopopopopopolololol

I saw that trend, but why would you play it top instead of jungle ? She actually clears waves too fast to really get ahead in laning phase (except if you invade, but the opposing team will see it pretty easily), and has godlike map mobility early. I mean you can solo drake pretty easily at lvl5 and you wreck anybody 1v1 with the saber, and you can move to empty lanes to farm in a matter of seconds.
