From reading about other serve cards and their bonuses it sounds like it's worked in the past. Amazon Payments has also apparently worked. This is for science and the betterment of mankind (and totally not for the betterment of my LoL account). That'd be so sick if so. I work in E-Sports, we don't have direct deposit T_T. But I do have paypal!

1. Load up all my mail in rebates onto Amazon payments. 2. Pay myself with Amazon payments to get the RP rewards on my serve card. 3. Buy 10 things on 10 different days at Walgreens. 3. Withdraw my remaining balance at an ATM 4. Deposit cash into my bank. Net effect: no more random rebate gift cards, free RP.

With my mid champion pool of Ori, Kayle, Akali and Panth I am always certain to get a good matchup mid and the team is usually happy when you firstpick support. One rule is to not pick a playmaking support, where the support has to make the plays since my partner is usually the lowest skilled player in the game, Sth like Sona or even Soraka works best. Only prob is to find people, who like to play support every game vs better players. Ofc bot lane will not win their lane very often, but still a somewhat fed adc is usually not that big of a problem in the midgame, when you have a strong mid hero yourself. On the topic of heroes roster: I try to avoid top and support, since imo top is where the most knowledge is needed for all the different matchups, when to trade etc and support is just boring for me. Mid I play mentioned Akali, Kayle, Orianna and Pantheon. When I have to pick first not knowing their mid I usually go Kayle or Orianna since both can do well against almost all mids I feel. Long range mages are a problem for Kayle, but she can still farm and you typicaly outscale them. Adc I play Kogmaw, when they dont have to many divers, Ezrael or lately a little bit of Corki, when I have an aggressive support. When I have to jungle I go Nasus or Eve. So with the thrown in Sona for support, I have around 7-8 Champs that I play on a constant basis. For me personally that is a good number to keep my level of play on a good level.

Top: Chogath Mid: Chogath Jungle: Chogath, Hecarim, Jarvan, Amumu, Trundle, Sejuani, Rammus, Eve, Nunu AD: Nope Support: Everything (Zyra is my worst) EDIT: Still waiting for a Bro'Gath skin. Alistar jungle is still bad-ish because 1. Missing headbuttverize combo sucks 2. Strong big minion + weak small minions means Ali's passive doesn't help clear that much b/c he'll be stuck smacking the big one for several extra hits. (Haven't checked in awhile, basically same thing for a lot of AOE junglers) 3. Incredibly blue dependent 4. Sightstone 5. Apart from being a great tank with his ult, the rest of his kit is pretty meh. No real hard engage, heals for a minimal amount. Can't assassinate, etc.

I think it's more the fact that Alistar's jungle clear is pretty slow even by today's metric. He's also a terrible duelist and prone to counterjungling. On top of that, I wouldn't give him the edge in early 2v2s especially when J4 and Elise see so much play. On August 15 2013 08:18 Alaric wrote: Yeah but like Nunu, Alistar is a champion who has to make stuff happen early because he doesn't bring nearly as much as others in teamfights or later in the game (note: Nautilus falls off super hard late game because his cc isn't as strong as that of Sejuani/Zac and he has no damage to speak off, but it's still not as huge as Alistar). Iunno if I agree with that. Both Nunu and Alistar are quite strong lategame and in teamfights. Nunu gives your AD carry a free PD, has excellent peel, and forces the enemy team to cc him. Alistar is like the Yellow of supports; he's great at peeling, but is second to Janna. His initiation is decent, but is also second to Thresh/Blitz.
