Wow so they basically didn't change Trundle at all and he is still going to suck in League of Gapclosers? Awesome.
Goodnight, sweet Troll prince, someday perhaps you will be useful once more.

A lot of Riots new lore for rework and VU's are kind of shitty now. :/ Trundle and Sejuani's are nearly not as good as their old ones.

^ Have a look at Morde's and Karthus' lore changes... and they will change Sivir's too. There's potential with the way the League is basically opened to mercenaries and soldiers-for-hire (what Twitch technically is for example, despite being associated to Zaun in nature), rather than the whole "every city states sends their "people" there" that we get with Garen or Swain for example. I wish their lore guys would try to focus on that aspect too: as an assassin who doesn't really benefit from the spotlight and isn't officially contracted by the government (he was General Du Couteau's private hitman/spy after all), Talon is the type of champ who patronises the League (in both senses of the word) for information and influence rather than "winning this match for the glory of Noxus!" or stuff like that, but this side of the lore has never been explorer, only hinted at (Ashe's original lore, Janna's, etc.). Since they'll redo Sivir's lore, I really fear she's going to be something bland (Jayce's lore relies on his wealth to show him as a vain dude, but that's the stereotype he portrays and it's taken upon so it's integrated) rather than exploit the "selling herself out" ethics and mercenary side of things. Hell, I'm sure they'd rather expand on the weak last "Noxus sends assassins to punish her for leaving their service but she kills them every time" line instead of scrapping it and play with the possibility of champs fighting for a side in a match, and the other in the next, and its implications. Grmpf.
Sej's new VA isn't bad, but it has too many "mellow" lines compared to the current one. I feel the "aggressive" ones have much more heart and soul hi online translator to them, and since she tells both types with a very different tone I also think the latter one sits much better with Sejuani's portrayal.

1goal1dream going legendary against Crs scrim; nice pick up gtrsrs. Is he just sub for scrim? or actual pickup?

So far I've been camped hard top and completely destroyed 2 dariuses and a singed with karma, she does really well in that type of situation it seems.

Yea I HATED the Karthus lore change. It was so good, it had some elements of mystery to it. Now its just generic.

Ironically enough, if HSGG was able to perform consistently the way he did against Curse when he got Cho'Gath, Trundle could be a legit pick-up for Chauster in their "protect DL"/splitpush/disengage compositions. Just because the higher teams don't bother trying him and lesser teams butcher the execution acting like he's granted (I think I haven't been able to swallow the GGU game and the people in the LR thread bashing on Trundle instead of harping on GGU's half-assed positioning... ) doesn't mean he doesn't get used well. However, considering the amount of utility he has, his teamfighting effectiveness is currently close to Shen's: a big impact spell (his taunt/the pillar), hard to kill, really hard to kill with farm, but low damage (Shen's actually got higher damage than Trundle because he scales well with AS through his passive and said passive + Q spam split his damage between physical and magical while Trundle's full-on physical). Shen's not picked for protection or teamfighting, but for splitpushing and decent 1v2 ability, so... if the meta was less-oriented around divers, and came back to longer fights with bulkier comps, his teamfighting would improve from the fact that he isn't ult-reliant and only gets stronger the more he gets to spam pillar and deal "incidental" dps to people letting him stick around. The more we stray afar from 4-minutes 3v1 dives and other super early dashing/diving junglers plays, or the more in-fight positional comps (Karthus, Lux, Anivia, etc.) get picked over roaming comps (Kha'Zix, Zed, TF), the closer we get to Trundle being strong (even though "closer" doesn't mean much yet).
PS: don't read Umineko at night. Shit destroys your sleep schedule (when TL LoL GD doesn't).

Udyr is so much fun. Not sure if he is actually better outside of the passive+phoenix change, but getting to run around as tank monster man-bear-pig is so much fun.
Also liking the mana cost buff.

You gotta get a trundle pillar, singed squirts mega adhesive on top of it, then Ziggs drops a minefield on top of that, then Doublelift kites whole enemy team around in circles around pillar and gets a penta. Support nunu can also stand next to pillar and ult for added effect.

actually Nintendude's pillars are on point, his team just got outclassed and people who have no idea what they are talking about blamed Trundle.

Also, on this topic. Zionspartan should just play only Jayce; this guy lands shockblasts left and right all day.

I'm actually really impressed with Nintendude's growth. First few weeks of LCS, every game his play felt super lackluster, and weak. However sometime around/after super week he's been performing exceptionally. Similar to how I feel about Dyrus. Except Dyrus has been performing exceptionally since the beginning of S3 compared to S2 imo.
Or I'm just a terrible skill judge. That could be the case too.

he's really good he's just been overshadowed by having terrible solo lanes (fat, Zion in mid period especially)
oh shi Chrispy vs. phantom on stream lets go TL

nothing on our team is finalized at all, NOTHING like with no contracts and knowing that all the shitty LCS teams want my good players, everything is temporary that being said i was super happy with his play, yeah gonna give him some more days

Y'know, saying "he had the best pillars considering the situation" isn't exclusive with "he did jack shit because they were so badly positioned". (I can probably shovel one or two posts where I detailed how badly TF then Kog'Maw positioned, and those were the only two fights where I rewound using the youtube feed because somebody blamed Trundle in the thread after them, I'm sure we could do it for the others. eg. Trundle or not when your zhonya's-less TF Gates less than 300 units away from Nasus and Renekton and separated from 3 of his teammates, you know he's screw up badly.)
