Broken watch on EUW seems to carry every game with jayce and he plays him a lot and seems to get shurelyas+frozen heart into possibly BT or more tank items (or like hexdrinker and stuff) everygame. His base damages are pretty high but only the triple hit from gun thing does that much damage.

I am in no way suggesting this solely for my own amusement as the forums explode in rage.
Feels good to be plat, don't it? ;P

A CDR build on him seems good, and once you max W and E, Cannon W and Hammer E are great baseline, so tank + CDR could work. However, his scaling is too big to ignore imo.

I was duo-queuing with a low Elo friend last night and there was a Jayce on the enemy team. I was a fed Ezreal with IE, Trinity and BT. He just had Trinity and a Phage. Didn't stop him from trucking 70% of my health in an instant.
I gained respect for Jayce as a champion after that game.

What's his scaling? Hyper charge is his only really good scaling the rest is decent but not amazing ad ratios..
|
1.68 AD on accelerated Cannon Q, 1.0 AD on Hammer Q, 1.0 AD on Hammer E, not to mention the 130% auto damage on each shot of Cannon W. It's not the best in the game, but a full combo (accelerated Q, Hammer Q in, 1 or 2 autos, E, Cannon hit EQW auto auto auto) is really fucking easy to land and does 5.36 AD plus whatever autos you land, 3 of which are 1.3x normal.
|
Hammer Form: Q: +1.0 AD ratio W: +0.25 AP ratio on a /sec ability E: +1.0 AD Ratio
Range Form: Q: +1.2 AD Ratio, +1.68 if Accelerated W: Steriod ability, no ratio E: Steriod ability, no ratio
With CDR, his Ranged Q poke seems almost Nidalee level. And with enough CDR, his Ranged E seems like a Shurelyas you can have with very high up-time.

I really should reread Allegory of the Cave. My history teacher had us read it freshman year of high school (almost 7 years ago) and I didn't really get it. I wonder how much more I'd get out of it now.
During lunch, my coworkers were talking about Fantasy Football, and it got me wondering if Fantasy LoL would work. I've never done any sort of Fantasy sport, so I have no idea what the logistics/scoring would be, but if someone were to set it up, I'd probably give it a try.

Are there enough pro LoL players that are REALLY good enough to justify making fantasy teams? I will admit to not having enough knowledge of the pro scene, but aren't there about 30~ great players? I feel like everyone would have the same team... or at least enough people would that it would get silly.
Who knows though... I could definitely be wrong (and I expected to be corrected on my perception of the scene immediately).
Edit: I also don't know much about making fantasy teams.

there's fantasy starcraft here on TL,
LoL might not be developed enough for a fantasy league yet tho; afaik, they need ongoing leagues and seasons for that to really work.
|
Oh there's more than enough pro players (NA, EU, KR). And when you draft a team, the player list is cycled through without replacement (right?), so teams are unique.
|
So rengar can destroy people at level 1 like tigerdyr. He's gonna be crazy in the top lane

There ya go. That seems like it would be super fun, then.

It's a bit cheese-y, and you have to let the Golems smack you around and miss farm. Not really the same as sitting in bush with Tiger proc up.
But I'll agree he looks insane. Any manaless champ with sustain, tankiness, damage, and ranged harass is dumb.

Another way to do it (fantasy proleague style) each player has a "cost" based on how good they are (or perceived to be) and your team can't exceed a certain cost. So if you want Froggen mid you'd have to take some non-top tier top or jungle or w/e to stay within your cost limit
At least that's how it worked in fantasy BW, which I played a bit when it was around
