 Any suggestions on the best way to get to 30 asap without buying boosts? And is there any way to forfeit your games in the rankings? I mean, I don't really want to screw over people who are trying to get ranked highly when I do get there. Thanks! | ||

You can't lose elo anymore by dodging, so the only way is losing games on purpose. I went 1-9 in my placement matches and was at like 812 elo. From there I basically got really fed every game, and I don't think I lost before 1000 elo. | ||

Whether you play normals or coops, it always takes ages. Fastest way would be to buy both timed and per game boosts as they seem to stack multiplicatively (no guarantee though), so you get 4 times the experience. You might be able to get lvl 30 in a week of nonstop grinding that way. But all of that doesn't matter, as elo hell doesn't exist like you imagine it. It's 100% subjective. For some people the 1200s are hell, for some it's the 2000s and for some it's 600 (lol just admit you're bad). | ||

if i pick a lane i know i can't win (i.e. i first pick wukong and the enemy counterpicks leesin, and the lee sin appears competent), i get gp10 as soon as possible and play as passively as possible. if i get to half health, i just back and buy, i never try to fight, i ask for no ganks, all i do is "win" my lane by not dying and picking up cs where i can. when the "laning phase" ends, i'll skip a few teamfights and keep farming to buy myself some interest time and catch up in cs. i'm gonna be worthless in a teamfight anyway if i pick a lane that's even, i will never buy gp10. real stats are too important. wriggle or dblade, rushing boots2, so many better things than interest in a close lane if i pick a lane that i have a slight advantage and am able to exploit it (wukong over irelia, for example, where i never dominate the lane but i can usually win in cs and harass them consistently), i will buy a gp10 only if they make a mistake and i can exploit it. maybe they engage me and i get the kill because they misjudge my damage. as long as it's close, real items only. as soon as i "blow open" the game with a kill or forcing them to miss 3 waves or something, then i'll get a gp10. in a lane i know i will dominate (malphite versus anyone, holy shit that guys is overpowered), i get only gp10 and never look back until i have 2,039,123,597,900 gold. if they buy real items and start making it a closer lane, i respond with real items too so yeah i only buy gp10 in fringe cases where the lane is already lost or already won really | ||

GP10s are worth it whenever you win a lane hard. When you can get away with buying something that gets you more money, why would you not do it. You win in CS, you win in kills, and then still get more from the gp10.
