Atm i feels this about changes. Twitch is to weak in lane for current level of play, might be "top able" Eve might be ok but she sucks top and she gets to little farm in jungle. What is wrong with Barcraft as a general name? | ||

Hec has a better initiate, is more mobile, and has slightly higher damage (I think, Q spam on Hec I think is higher than Skarner, but I'm not sure). Skarner has better peeling and counter initiate. They're close in other aspects. | ||

Right now it seems like she's ok but riot took a lot away from her for being able to avoid sight wards. That's just my feeling on her. Also her ulti cooldown feels really long but in team fights it's crazy. | ||

hec is not a better initiator except in fringe cases, and his best initiate (R into the enemy team, E to separate someone) doesn't pull an individual any further than skarner's R nor does it suppress... the damage on hec's Q is irrelevant except for 1 or 2 Qs because he has no sticking power, whereas all of skarner's Qs will hit if he hits the first one basically hecarim's W is his strong point, not his Q, but in the jungle he doesn't get as much farm as he needs to make the most out of his W, whereas skarner is a beast with just shurelia. i think hecarim is a really viable and strong top laner, using E as an escape rather than a shitty unreliable ganking tool; skarner isn't really a laner. on the flippy floppy, skarner is a much much stronger ganker and better with lower farm. run hec top, skarner jungle, GG | ||

His level 1 E is also faster than Skarner's level 5 W, making it better for blitzing in. In a given time span, Skarner will have higher average speed, but Hec's E lets you just blaze past warded lanes and get in range before they can respond. I'd rather play Skarner, but don't downplay Hec's power. | ||

hecarim's R has an extremely slow particle speed, it's not that hard to dodge especially if you're near max range, that's why i think it's kinda underwhelming. also 1s fear -25% for mercs is basically just a mini-stun, it doesn't actually cause havoc (especially true when you consider that if you're dashing in, your teammates aren't going to be able to close the gap let alone wreak havoc during that 0.75s). and again, the best move for hecarim is R->E, and the knockback on his E is nothing compared to a skarner pull with W and shurelia on. while it's true that hecarim's *max* E speed is higher than skarner's *max* W speed, you can't discount the ramp-up time, the duration of both buffs, and the cooldown. you're being too selective on your comparison imo. average speed is also a lot more important IMO because the time it takes you to reach a lane is just as important as how fast you're moving when you get there. and one last point of comparison, skarner has the best passive in the game and hecarim's passive is fucking awful when you look at how many easy and free slows there are in the game :\ don't get me wrong i love playing hecarim. i bought a skin for him and i play him a ton in ranked and i have a decent success rate with him (but not many wins, i don't feel he can carry well). but when i'm playing a game that i want to win for sure, i'll pick skarner every time. there's no real comparison between the two in my mind | ||
