I agree that all point and clicks should be smartcasted, without exception, however I think that regardless of how good you are, there are some skills which really shouldn't be smartcasted such as blitzcrank's grab and E on AP kogmaw. They're too long cooldown and too important to miss.

If the wiki's numbers are correct for Jayce... wtf. If those mana costs aren't low. Why not make him a manaless champ then? Except for his Q his costs are like 40 50 30 each, with no /level scaling.

I play a lot of fiddle support in solo Q, you need to have passive farm fest lanes without sustain, hes good vs blitz and Leona. Janna and Sona are hard, Soraka is super hard.
Darkwind has longer range than fear so you generally want use it to force cds so jungler can follow up safely which you follow up with Fear. He is amazing lategame and beyond amazing with early kills.

That's not how the new mechanics work. If there's a gap in a CC-chain then you will automatically Flash out, but if the CCs are seamless, landing the instant before the previous CC ends, there's no gap to exploit so you won't Flash until the CC-chain ends.
The wording on the change was certainly weird, but if it worked as you described Naut's infuriating hook -> root combo would be impossible against many champions when it's clearly not.

Just lost a 1v1 to the boots +4 wukong from gtrs btw with eve. gave up after 2 deaths in which i screwed up badly twice. 
He had to use all of his potions super quickly, if i hadn't made the mistakes it definitely looked like eve could take the lane.

Eh i only 1v1'd him because he caught me inbetween dota 2 matches(watching not playing) while i was sitting in LoL. I still don't think it proves a damn thing, except that he definitely underestimated the trading mid wave issue and that i shouldn't have tried the trade to wukong outside of the creep waves like i did twice. and that he was BM in game.
EDIT: I'd like to see two top laners try it instead of a support player playing vs a jungler.
