I honestly just don't understand. I mean I made mistakes...but nobody ever got stupidly pissed off at our mid for getting panth bombed so many times, or anything else. Something went wrong in bot lane? OMG VLAD SO USELESS FUCKING BAD I call MIA on panth less than 1 second after he enters river, he ults somewhere and gets 2 kills? WTFF VLAD WHY ARE YOU SO BAD AT THIS GAME!!?!?! The best one IMO, I dive on panth and karth ults at the same time. Panth dodges my ult by a lucky timed leap but I still think he'll die to the karth ult, so I pool AWAY instead of DEEPER. Panth lives with less than 10 hp. WHOLE TEAM ERUPTS INTO OMFG VLAD WHY ARE YOU SO STUPID FREE FUCKING KILL OMG PANTH WHY YOU LET HIM LIVE. Yes, it was all caps, pretty much the whole time. Seriously, the fuck is going on in this game that turns people into this.....or am I just really that bad somehow and it just doesn't seem like it (ya know, having higher cs and less deaths than all the people bitching at me)....? People will see what they want to see in order to shift blame. This includes you, it's something no one can help. Not saying it was actually all your fault, but try to look at the situation objectively and from their point of view to see if there was anything you could have done better. Don't take what they say to heart, but do take it as a signal to analyze what happened and improve. | ||

This rage happens all the time and it's not just this game. Any game where teamwork is central to the game will have this. In all honesty, I've played both DotA and HoN as well and the communities in those games are just as bad if not worse than in LoL. Just ignore it and move on. | ||

Rule #1 of soloqueue, just ignore 95% of what people say because 95% of what people say is random trash when they have no clue about the game, not much you can do when pant leaves sight, is he in his jungle? is he recalling? is he ulting towards our jungle? is he ulting mid? Only thing you can do is keep him pushed to turret with good ward coverage. But, most important thing, just ignore people in solo queue, not /ignore but just dont bother with their rage. Seriously. | ||

He's a lot like LB or Lux imo. If they get fed it's bad and can turn the game quickly. But at a certain point they become almost a liability to their team regardless of how well they did earlier. Dude, those games where you get destroyed in lane but still manage to get fed because either you just played badly in lane phase or because the other team has a few people who do stupid shit are great. I've given up on that whole "report" thing anyways -- almost every game there is someone who thinks it's expected of them to spew out useless and banal insults at the first opportunity. No way Riot is going to ban as many players as would be necessary to fix the problem. However, for as many obnoxious ppl as there are -- even if it's 2 out of 5 people every team you get -- they're still the minority I think. Just an obnoxiously large minority. But not worth your time, either way. | ||

Also if people on your team are blaming you, you need to already know when something is your fault, and when something isn't. Ignoring them is usually what I do, if they don't have the game sense to know who's fault something actually is, I wouldn't trust their play making pings either. | ||

Except when you're timing every objective on the map. I don't need pings to know where someone is when I don't have to waste time reading stupid comments. I /ignore liberally and use chat to record the respawn time of everything bigger than a small camp. | ||

As for /ignoring people, does it really make that big a difference to people? I've never used it. Not only does it completely remove any possibility that through silence and actually ignoring them they may stop raging or w/e it is they are doing in chat, but I find it hilarious to watch the people that do react, or occasionally throw in a line to spurn on more entertainment myself. Is it really that hard to just, not read the chat? It's not like their text isn't easily distinguishable from those that may be typing something useful. | ||
