Notice how he asked if he was "just trash with Irelia?" What lvls did you die? Because Irelia is not that good fighting people until around lvl 9. You're far too squishy early game, but if you farm and play safe, you should be able to destroy Akali wit Merc treads+Wit's End. | ||

Yep. My advice: unless you're winning top lane as irelia, allways build a wriggles lantern, and if you'r unsure wether you're winning or not from the start I'd build 21 in defense. Especially vs someone like akali which struggles vs tanky people with sutain (Irelia is not tanky in lane if you rush sheen), a negatron isn't what you wanna go for that early, if I were you then I'd take a null magic mantle instead which also builds into wit's end. And rhanduins omen > warmogs unless ou're getting atmas, and personally I don't like atmogs much | ||

Essentially this. If you are the absolute best AD ever, never miss a CS with full ARP runes do it. Your mid-late game damage will be superior. However since some of us mortals are pretty bad, we mix in a few AD runes to make it easier. IMO you have to find a balance where you do enough damage to last hit well, but still have arp runes to crush squishies. There's also certain rune setups for lasthitting under tower effectively, but I don't know them. | ||

Using AD because you are bad at csing is a bad argument tbh, if you want to improve your csing you should work on it, not make it easier with runes:p. I'm not too good at csing on ADs either but missing a cs or two every now and then isn't such a big deal around the 1600s. Even if I would run full AD I might miss some cs because I always try to cs at the last possible moment, ad doesnt help with that. | ||

game 1) I decide to start dorans blade top for the hell of it, and because Riven isn't ranged I throw a Q, then auto her once she comes to CS, I throw another Q then ignite her for first blood at approximately 2:10 She teleports back in front of me and I toss a spear once she comes, at this point i'm level 2, then i crit her twice my passive blocks tower, then I w to kill her and i block another tower hit. 2-0 at less than 3 minutes. The wave pushes to my tower I completely deny her by tanking the minions before they reach my tower. She has 3 CS at 10 minute mark. I have 90. Then our support decides he's had enough with our AD carry even though he was probably the problem and comes solo top soraka. I run around and literally kill everyone. End game 10-1 LOL Game 2) I start Dorans blade against a Yorick because I figured the only way I could win lane was to just first blood him. Before minions spawn I check the brush, he's there then I just auto him a couple of times, spear him tiwce, then ignite and I get first blood at like 1:50 Then somehow I'm getting zoned by this Yorick because he's op in lane. However, when I hit 6 I score a triple kill by ganking bot and our team dragon. Then I buy a 14 minute bloodthirster and rape yorick, they surrender at 20. Game 3) I go mid because our Ahri complained that LeBlanc was OP I decided to go null magic mantle and 2 pots, then I just kept spearing her and she couldn't farm LOL. I'm farming well, then when I hit 6 I just followed LB around wherever she ganked and was eventually 4-0. I have warmogs, mercs, and atmas at an absurdly early time, I forget when. Then I just told my team to come to baron and the enemy team was too scared to stop it and surrendered. Maybe I'll try him in ranked LOL. | ||

Maybe I'll try him in ranked LOL. you've been lucky enough that the games ended at 20 minutes. if the game goes beyond the 30 minute mark, you'll be pretty much useless. if had plenty of games where i was 12/2 or something like that and still lost because the game went for too long. but true, he's really really strong early game and can wreck a lane in a way that the enemy laner is useless. laning against a squishy without armor runes mid is hilarous. | ||
