Last december I announced that I was going to be running a tournament with the purpose of promoting the amatuer 5v5 scene. Recently Riot has cntacted me with the good news that they are willing on contributing the following prizes, if I meet a registered teams stipulation. 1st place: $15 RP + Triumphant Ryze + Champion Skin Bundle (whatever the next release will be) per player 2nd place: $15 RP 3rd place: $10 RP 4th place: $5 RP per player Once again I'd like to announce that I am accepting teams to register at sethrakill@gmail.com. The tournament is a 32 team single elimination tournament each round played as a best of three, the rosters will be 3 permanent members with up to 4 subs. I am using http://sites.google.com/site/leagueopen/ as the location for team pages, brackets and rules. Thank you | ||

http://na.leagueoflegends.com/news/new-color-palettes-available-colorblind-players Apparently the top left picture is what color blind people currently see, top right is what's already in the game and the bottom is what's coming in the next patch. Even though I'm not color blind I'll probably still be using the new pallete. Blue looks really sharp. | ||

It's a new palette that will allow colorblind people to see a contrast of colors between allies and enemies. Before it was all yellow to them, now it's yellow and blue. It's not necessary to change the enemy's color, and I would rather keep red on enemies than change it to something else while leaving allies green. | ||

Or maybe its because Viktor actually isn't all that good? He does NOTHING better than any other mid. More burst? lolannie. More range? Cassio+Brand disagree. CC? Kennen and Swain have better CC than him. The main issue (for me) is his garbage range overall. Q is a really nice skill, except the missile speed is too slow. Enemy mid will be able to damage you before it returns to give you shield. My other problem is his passive. Don't get me wrong, it was a nice idea and all, but it will hurt him come late game. I would rather have another DC or a Void Staff than any of his augments. Viktor also gets a lane pushed on him super hard. All he has to clear a lane is E, and if you constantly use it, you will run out of mana. So his laning sucks imo, his mid is alright, and his late gets hurt because augments take up a spot. The one thing I can admit is that if Viktor does manage to land W for the stun, opponent will be taking a lot of damage. E+R will drain so many champs. His ult is the one thing that saves him from being awful to me. | ||

I dont have to worry about getting jumped because I can stay so far back and nobody can approach cuz W. I can easily peel chasers off of my nuub teammates, and one R can win a teamfight once I get fed. You HAVE to smartcast his lazer tho. Hardest mid matchup so far has been Ahri, with her long poke and dash that nullifies your ult, also Mord who opened FON, but I got good ganks. | ||
