Granted, you'll be extremely obnoxious if you have revolver and the quints, but I think Kennen has a pretty dominant game right from level 1 and AP quints lets you really abuse it. I think the spell vamp would be better on someone like Vlad who just wants to survive as long as possible until level 7 or 9. | ||

It's very matchup dependent, but I find that against mana based champions, a lot of people don't want to waste mana trading level 1 spells with you when they could save mana for trading higher level spells later on. Having the AP quints makes it more painful for them if they take free harass. | ||

Kennen likes being in the middle of the fighting, and the extra oomph provided by AP quints is marginal at best, having that little bit of extra survivability will be nice indeed | ||

6% spellvamp is only about 5-10 hp from low level Kennen Q's, so its early laning effect is marginal. Later once he starts doing real damage is when the vamp really kicks in. Flat AP is geared more toward earlygame, but it's really been the only viable option for mages for some time. It strikes me as a choice of early strength vs mid/late strength. | ||

I can see vamp quints working on top lane AP champs like Morde and Rumble where any extra sustain is really welcome. I would take the spell vamp going top as Kennen also, but for mid I think you really need the AP. And Vlad is a special case since he works a lot like a top lane champ. | ||

Considering that she used to be the unquestioned #1 champ in the game(immediately after first rework) I'm going to go ahead and say no, she's not anywhere close to 'as viable as ever.' Even if you are of the (wrong) view that she is a 'strong' carry right now, 'as viable as ever' implies she is currently at a state that matches her best, which is certainly untrue. Of course I could've just laughed and pointed out how she's really not in a good place right now, but that's less fun. | ||
