Champs like Kass exist specifically for this reason. I don't understand why the majority of people want to put their AP vs Kass mid.

Hum I don't really agree. Very often in high level play there's pretty much nothing going on. To me the average tournament lol game has about the same total amount of downtime as one of the dota games from the invitational, except the dota game is twice as long... so it's like constant action, but the games take forever to close out, whereas with lol it's like there's not very much action but at least the games are short. As a caster I think I would prefer a passive but short game like lol.
