I got a "destroy 40 minions" quest, X-d it, and then I got a "win 3 games with any classes", and after I finished it, I had no quests left. If I had not x-d the first one, I could've done both? No if you X a quest you replace it. you would not have been able to do both. Normally you X all 40 gold quests in a hope to get a 60 or 100 gold quest. or if it just is win with heroes you don't like.

Also oly one replacement per day.

You play a card that inflicts 2 damage to ALL characters. Who will win? I'm having quite a bit of trouble playing aggro (namely Rogue and Warlock with maybe a Betrayal and a Felguard (that I don't use) on top of the basic cards) because of the lack of "good" 2-drops. Well, it's not that they're bad, but you'd want draw when your mana curve is rather low, and novice engineers ar pretty bleh against most drops (they can't even deal with totems) while loot hoarders are very easily dispatched by random AoE (mad bomber, druid hero power, elven archer, arcane missile, etc. or the oh so much hated mage hero power). I end up banning anything not argent squire/southsea deckhand that only has 1 health from my 1 and 2 drops because of the number of mages or easy removal (against a paladin you can't play a loot hoarder turn 2 if you're 2nd because he'll probably have played a token with his power and will ping it for "free", and you usually don't want to play it on turns 3-4 because you've got much better (or you're in a shit situation)), but it makes me kinda short on decent drops. Ooze, Kobold, Goldshire footman, Bloodfen Raptor, Murloc Tidehunter (because you can't ping both him and the 1/1 usually), Novice engineer, crocolisk. The footman is easily dispatched by most 2 drops so he'd only be a buffer for hero powers and stuff, and he'd end up hurting the mana curve. Tidehunter isn't great for the same reason because he's basically a 1/1 if you're against a mage, druid, or a paladin playing first. Kobold isn't the most interesting in a basic rogue/warlock deck because of the lack of spells (well my warlock deck doesn't overly rely on them). Raptor can basically be replaced by Ooze unless I already have 2 and just want a lot of 2-drops. TL;DR: from the basic set with an early game (typically basic rogue) I'm better off using 2x Ooze and 2x engineer if I don't want to get screwed over by pings it seems? Should I craft some commons to bolster my card pool? I like stuff like Worgen Infiltrator in Arena but it's still a card that'll only attack once then get pinged (I used to include a leper gnomein my deck for this reason but even with the deathrattle he's just too fragile to warrant the slot).

I don't think worgen gets pinged a lot. It usually just trades for me. A lot of people don't run 1 drops because they don't like the mana curves. They'll run engineers just to maintain card advantage while protecting their life for the later game. You can get surprisingly far with an engineer, loot hoarder, inventor druid deck with some late game. While the loot hoarder can get pinged, it does give you a card back. So you spend 2 mana and the mage spends 2 mana and you spent a card but you get a card so you end up roughly even (except you're weaker to fatigue). My biggest problem with it is 2-3s that stay on the board afterwards.
