Is this cardset what the game will be released with? seems pretty small. Is there an expansion schedule yet?

On a less serious note (because I am dead serious about the key), Ancient Mage. It is the only card that says +1 to minions that I could find. Which minions would benefit from it and would spells in hand be affected? (I'm guessing no on the last part)

(I'm guessing no on the last part) You might be overthinking him a bit. He's like any card you play which has buffs for adjacents; he arrives, he gives the buff to adjacent targets. Similiar to the Wolf Alpha or Flametongue Totem. So you have: [ A ] [AncientMage] [ B ] Before, A and B can be anything. Totems. Legendaries. Anything. Now they gain +1 spellpower. Spellpower then goes on to buff the flat damage/healing numbers on your spells.

It's a good card then. | ||

Ancient mage cannot give +1 Spellpower to minions that already have +1 Spellpower. I tried it the other day in my Spellpower Rogue deck thinking "aw hell yeah my Dalaran Mage and my Azure Drake will be +2 Spellpower" and then... no change. Same way you can't give Charge to something with Charge or Taunt to something that already has Taunt I guess. Makes him sort of questionable in Spellpower based decks where most if not all of your minion base already has +Spellpower. (Makes a bit more sense in a Shaman deck where you're constantly summoning totems that have other effects, but not so much in Rogue for example) He can give +2 SP if you have two minions next to him that DON'T already have +1 Spellpower, though. If so there's a pretty fun infinite combo out there. Have two little Brewmasters, a knife juggler, and any one creature on board with two shadowsteps in hand->gg. Edit: A google search disabused me of this notion. Damn. Would have actually been interesting.

"Choose One - Give your minions +1/+1; or Summon a 3/2 Panther." if all it did was give +1/+1 i'm assuming it would give +2/+2, but summoning a 4/3 panther is questionable

How many wins in arena do you need to go infinite on average? In the big patch where Rogue was nerfed, the loot for 5/6 wins was significantly increased. There were a few times at 6 wins that I made more than 150 gold, whereas with my 7 wins I've never gotten more than 150. tl;dr 6-7 wins on average should be sufficient to for a infinite run.
