Lol, I meant "survive" in the sense that they make it through shipping unbroken.

How does eyes worsening work?
If I lost some vision after using my computer a lot, will I continue to lose it until I go blind or will it eventually stop? Because in that case I can just wait and have eyes surgery, gg

What are the good brands of power tools? I'm told it's preferable to pick a brand and mostly stick to it since some of the batteries are going to work between the products. Gonna need a drill mainly for now. Looking at consumer level stuff.
There's: Black & Decker Bosch DeWALT Hitachi Makita Mastercraft (which is a local brand I think) SKIL (which is a budget brand it seems...)
Any of these I should consider or avoid completely? Cheers.

I don't know but I always get mad when someone says comptuers ruin your eyes and then I see progamers who don't need glasses after dedicating their lives to playing video games.
I don't think you will continue to lose vision quality until getting blind just from using computer, even if you use some ancient eye-damaging monitor from the 90s. The decrease can be kind of rapid when you're young but after that it should stabilize. I mean being 20 years old or older. I kept needing to "upgrade" my glasses when I was a kid but in the last few years I had to do it only ance it was a minor (0.25) difference compared to my last eye examination.

I only know about B&D and Bosch from EU. Bosch is in the top tier for individual use. Here it's also not so expensive if you plan on using it more than a couple time.
B&D advertise a lot and I thing there are quite alike Bosch, but I cannot give you feedback on this brand.

I used to work in a hardware store, and those two brands were definitely the ones with least returns. Cheapo crap sold the most but over 50% came back. I've also used powerdrills etc. by both myself and have no complaints.

I heard many recommendations for Makita and Dewalt too, are those cheapo crap?

B&D and Bosch is what regular people buy at the hardware convenience store when they want good stuff. But... every pro craftsman that ever fixed something in my house had Makita. I'm guessing B&D and Bosch have good marketing, but Makita might be where it's really at.

I recently had a vision test done as part of a physical evaluation for a job and it came back 20/10 with no evidence of nearsightedness. I asked the doctor and he didn't seem to be too well informed as he said 'if you don't feel any strain in your eyes, you're probably fine.'

when a tv show/movie gets sold as a dvd, on demand thing who/if anybody involved in it gets royalties from it? I know the studio does but what about writers, actors, directors, producers, creators etc.

I know that was the deal with shows like Seinfeld and syndication
I think writers get looped in, but not at the levels the on screen talent does though.

Dewalt are crap, but easy to fix (assuming you do that)
I like the new power usage features of Makita as they last a lot longer per battery charge than either by B&D or my Dewalts.
The reason to stick to one brand is interchangeability of accessories, interchangeable batteries, and you can bring all your tools to one vendor for repairs.
The batteries are most important for when you use chargers. It's nice to only need 1 charger for all your tools as opposed to different chargers for each tool.

I've heard a lot of good things about Makita so far. Looks like I might end up going for that.
And I repair my own equipment when it's easy and quick but if not I ain't got that much time to tinker anymore.

Say both people were healthy 20 year olds and both started their bad habits on the same day. Is one better off in the short term? I think the person with the bad diet would probably be worse off and more complications, more quickly. Smoking, you'll hurt your heart, lungs, and throat with some misc thrown in there with long term risk of cancer and emphasize; bad diet will really mess up most everything and much faster imo. Extra stress on the heart, weight gain causing overall more wear and tear, diabetes, I think if you had a sampling of identical twins and said smoke up Johnny to the one and here is your twinkies to the other the latter would be much worse off within six months of the experiment. I'm not sure I entirely agree with this, through eating healthy foods in addition to the sugary foods + exercising the sugar guy can counteract the negatives a lot easier than the smoker could right? I forgot to mention, I imagine the twins are living moderately healthy lifestyles aside from the sugar/smoking. Smoking.
Politics is the continuation of war by another means.

It is just classic cyclical reasoning. Usually it is a bit more hidden by a few more layers.

I have no idea. But you want to be like T-Pain. Because T-Pain always wins. Thus you want to always win. Because that makes you like T-Pain.
