Something worse? He could've killed all 4 of them :/
I think the point of that finale was that House was supposed to end up in a dark, depressing bar but instead he went at a happy beach. I think most fans of House would agree that Happy endings don't go well with this show.
What I personally think will happen in season 8 (assuming it is the last one) is that they will build up on the happy House character for the whole season and then crush him in the last few episodes leading to a dead House/ him realizing that he can never be happy/ remove completely his leg or something that is not happy ending.
I know right? I thought the Taub story in the finale was hilarious. He's pretty much screwed now. Not quite House-level of screwed, but still so, so bad by normal standards.
edit: "Chris I'm pregnant and Chase is the father" would have been even better. Oh well....
so season 8 is the end of the house ? when is it starting ? It was a cool episode but now I just want MOAAAAAAAAAAAAR... cant wait for next season Btw what is the name of Taubs ringtone ?
Not the best finale but not the worst. As always leaving us hanging but we're still laughing going wtf?!
I wonder what the setting of next season will be. It's still gonna revolve around Princeton-Plainsboro because we needa find out what happens to Taub haha. As for House, he seemed almost kinda genuinely happy in the end, seemed like telling Wilson the truth when he said that really did make him feel better. He seems satisfied, and this is the big change he's talking about. Before the last scene I was totally thinking he's out of the country now or something, but the beach was like.. huh. Could be out of country still, don't really know any sunny beaches east side, I'm betting California.
I think they're realizing the usual repetitive get an interesting case to diagnose is getting old and House's move facilitates changing it up.
Assuming House is gonna be in a new setting, I wonder how they're gonna insert new recurring roles. I really like how they used interns to do that previously. Wonder what it'll be this time. I hate it when a new cast is just randomly inserted/forced into a scene/show or something.

I'm all paranoid about the asymmetrical mole on my finger now
You probably should be . . . asymmetry is the first of the ABCDs of melanoma. You might want to get that checked out, especially if it grows at all.
Anyway, House is my favorite show on television, I'm really upset that it's going to be end. I need to get the DVDs of every season and have a massive marathon -_-.
I'm actually happy that it's going to end. Season 7 wasn't nearly as good as the ones before. There were some episodes I just stopped watching half-way through because they were so boring.
Awesome ending. I also feel like Wilson was telling what he thinks was the truth when he told the officer to look for House in the darkest, most depressing bar- that's what House would have done. But, who would have thought- it seems he can change. My guess for season 8 would be House on the flight from authorities solving cases via phone/webcam etc.. Would make for a nice Kung-Fu like setting with him meeting new people/puzzles while solving the occasional case on the way.
The final episode was a bit disappointing in my eyes, I thought he was setting the house on fire or something. Nobody got hurt, no disastrous consequences for yet again something stupid House has done. And I think the people thinking House is actually happy now are horribly wrong, I think he went to some nice beach because that's the last place people will look for him.
If Cuddy is not supposed to appear in season 8 at all I'm also a bit disappointed at how things got wrapped up there, I figured her ending would be more grotesque.

No, no, no. House ends up getting his leg amputated, and the last bit we're shown is House smiling. END.
:O I can totally see this happening.
He smiles all the time, though. I don't know if I'd be satisfied. You cant just assume he lives the rest of his life more happily... cause its fucking House. I want to see what that looks like. ;/
The finale was OK. Both when House crahsed into a house (xzibit?), and when Rachel gave Taub his news, my jaw dropped and stayed that way for a little bit. Which is quite good. ^__^
I'm not sure if I like Taub's situation, though. I liked how everything seemed to be setting into place for him... and I liked Ruby. Now he's sooooooooo boned. Especially since he's probably going to try to hide it from both of them.

Exactly. Though, taub's wife being pregnant was the most obvious thing in the whole episode, but its going to get pretty interesting when his both "girlfriends" hear about all of it. 8D
Crashing into Cuddy's kitchen was awesome way to end the season. I personally have no idea what could happen next. Maybe someone close to House is very sick and Lisa, Wilson, Foreman, 13, etc are trying to locate House to help, since he is obviously somewhere further away, who knows.
Great episode, great season. Shanti
Oh and also i am interested.

You have to remember that this was filmed before they knew they were coming back for an 8th season and before they knew Cuddy would not be returning. They couldn't really push a big storyline or anything.
