I actually disagree, I thought the season finale was interesting. At first my face was like :O when he drove into the house, and then as he walked away saying "That did make me feel better" to Wilson, I could do nothing but laugh.

Never before has a show made me go from my mouth hanging wide open to laughing so fast.

On a different note, any predictions on the Season 8 opener and explanation of where Cuddi went? I am going to go with her "moving away" to get away from House.

I thought three possible out comes:

1. He voluntarily cuts off his leg in the hospital
2. He drives straight into traffic
3. Well, we all know 3..

I'm not sure how I feel about it, I think I'll decide when they preview next season and what's to come.

actions seemed very poorly motivated. I guess one could argue its just building up this idea that House is going over the edge (of course thats kinda been the themem since the beginning), but if so, it doesn't really fit as a season finale.

im still laughing at that ending!!!!!! Fantastic season finale. He said he was going to change, and he did! That was also the most ideal way to get over Cuddy.

loved this season finale, it felt very refreshing to me compared to other seasons', in spite of, or precisely because, it wasn't so dramatic. a stimulating ending working on a playful but subtly grave tone as opposed to the nailbiting cliffhangers of past seasons.

there was real evolution of the character and the story telling over the past few episodes, something which i've been missing in the show for a season, with so many episodes seeming so lackluster to me in one field or another.

i think the route they took with the final two episodes rounds up the season quite nicely and sets up a very open next season, looking forward to it in a way, but i'll sure miss the show when it's gone.

It was entertaining, but I really don't think House would do that, yes he is crazy and reckless, but he could've killed 4 people, and won't he be charged with attempted murder?, at least reckless endangerment right?

He was taking experimental drugs and did surgery on himself just in the last two episodes, do you really think crashing his car into a house that far fetched?

I really enjoyed that as a season finale, they could've built up the suspense a little more throughout the episode but the ending was done very well. It's a nice switch up from the super dramatic/whats going to happen now finales the shows done in the past.

The patient might have foreshadowed the series ending with House finally deciding to get rid of his leg, and than being happy. This season he shred his baggage with Cuddy, so removing the leg may be the next step...? I think I'd like that as a better character evolution than him dying (which I suppose is still a possible scenario).

I'm kinda confused how this episode transitions into edelstein leaving for the 8th season. "If Greg House comes near my hospital or me again, I want him thrown in jail". Seems as if this would cut House from the show, not cuddy. Unless the main setting of the 8th season is outside the hospital.

I agree. They could have built the suspense a little better throughout the episode. Even though the episode could have been better, I was really wondering how they were going to get rid of Cuddy (Since Lisa Edelstein said she was leaving the show). I think they did a great job eliminating her character.

It was a very unexpected ending to this season, however I thought he had done something worse when the episode started. Wondering how they will play the story out in the 8th season.
