Like, really.. they just tried to pack like as much action as they could into one episode this time, what's going to happen next time? They have to keep upping the ante? It's not going to happen. Everyone had something ridiculous happen to them in this episode lol.
I would agree if you'd used an average House episode as an example, instead you choose the build-up to this season's final episode. Nobody's going to have to keep upping anything.
If you have indeed watched House from the beginning I would imagine by season 7 you'd know that crazy shit happends around the end of a season.

Great episode, looking forward to next week's
Yep crazy stuff indeed, thats why im so eager to see next monday's episode. Its gonna be awesome , hopefully something drastic that spins the show completely. Also I wonder why assume the show will have an unhappy ending. What i mean is that an actual happy , corny ending would probably suprise me more and would cause more "effect" on the audiance =]

2nd best episode of the season, imo. Best episode is when he jumps off the balcony. 2 of the best House episodes of all time, too. Whoever says this show is losing it's gusto is wrong.
The sequence when he jumps off the balcony is awesome... the best in the 7. season. No doubt. But my favourite episode is "Three Stories" from Episode 1.

I think this past episode opened up a few branches that could be elaborated on for the season finale/ next season. Stories like 13's and Taub's still have a lot of room for growth- or death (lol).
When he made Cuddy stay with him through the operation because he trusted her (to make sure that the surgeons wouldn't cut off any more leg muscle than was necessary), that was pretty much the nicest thing he's ever said to anyone.
It was a pretty big moment for House- and I could totally see him needing to go in on the operating table later on and then somehow sending a message to Wilson or Cuddy about euthanasia. If it comes to that, where he can't do it himself. ::shrugs::
Holy crap, I can't believe that episode the self surgery took me by complete surprise. You think they would hype something like that up (such as with the hack-saw amputee last season). Wonder if this is the last season, I thought they were dragging on the series at the end of 6 but this season has been much better than expected.

Season 8 (next season) is the last season. Check the past two pages for sources
hugh laurie said that hes done, im not sure if he means he is filming the next season and that will be the last one, or is next week the series finale as well??
the surgery was sick i almost felt physical pain watching it
If you compare how good the show still is with 7 seasons running to e.g. dexter or other shows I find it pretty much crap to say the show is getting worse and worse..
I mean I love(d) dexter! And the first 3 mayb 4 episodes were amazing but it just wasnt nearly the same after and well with house its much less severe imo..

House has been renewed for another season if i checked right. So i think Hugh is doing one more season.
he also stated, that he wanted to end the series with a huge final blow, so it will be very interesting.
the series is great and knowing him from his comedy (jeeves and wooster, black adder etc.) back in the days makes this even more awesome. i mean he usually speaks with a classic british accent :D
he just released a blues album like last week, was watching a youtube interview with him, trips me out to hear him talking natively with his british accent, wtf house?! lol

There was a facebook event where he had free downloads of one of his singles, loved the work that he did. Feels like listening to two completely different people
