[Film] 5 Fast 5 Furious - Page 7

"Fast Five," the fifth installment in the "Fast and the Furious" franchise, is set to begin shooting later this year for a 2011 release. Vin Diesel and Paul Walker are already on board and they are about to be joined by another action star.

Deadline is reporting that Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is in negotiations to board the fifth film and is eyeing a starring role. Johnson recently stated that it's time for him to get back to action flicks, which is why he is also working on "Faster" and "Protection."

"Fast Five" is said to revolve around Dom (Diesel) and Brian (Walker) as fugitives being pursued by relentless lawmen. Johnson is rumored to play the head lawman.

Funny thing is, though, my father in law is a auto repair shop manager, and tells me all the stories about the idiots coming in with modified exhaust, red wires on their spark plugs, all kinds of custom bullshit they don't know how to do or payed some idiot to do- and wonder why their car is all fucked up. My car is tuned, and you couldn't tell it was tuned until you pop the hood (granted it's a carbon fiber hood but yea). That's how it's supposed to be.
