It's official – The Fast and the Furious franchise will get another chapter. Speculation about a fifth installment had been rampant since Fast and Furious once again struck box office gold for NBC Universal last year. The rumors of a fourth sequel came to a head last month when Dominic Toretto himself made the announcement to his 7,385,034 Facebook fans that writer Chris Morgan had handed him scripts for a fifth and sixth movie in the series. Yet, there was no official word from the studio, until now.
Besides Vin Diesel (Toretto), Paul Walker (Brian O'Conner) and director Justin Lin will also return for what's now known simply as Fast Five. Apparently the gang isn't so furious anymore. The franchise should be in good hands, as this crew has ridden through at least two movies apiece and Chris Morgan was the author of the screenplays for the last two installments (The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift and Fast and Furious). Those two chapters were arguably the best in the FNF filmography.
The official announcement didn't include word of the suggested sixth installment, but if Vin is to be believed, they might be filming episode five and six back-to-back with a staggered release schedule possibly taking the franchise to its ten-year anniversary in 2011.
WATCHYOWATCHYOWATCHYO BACK!
IN A WORLD, BEYOND THE LAW. IF YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES YOU CAN HAVE IT ALL.
They need to turn up the intensity of the franchise. More asians girls with no titties please! More stereotypical looking asian ricers please. Also, I want them to soup up a Toyota Prius. Fuck yeaa!

When I watched the most recent Fast & Furious movie, I fell asleep the second I sat down in the theater, and only woke up when the movie got loud enough (i.e. action scene). Essentially, the entire movie was just one intense car chase after another with literally nothing in between (and random characters showing up unexpectedly). Pretty much the only dialog I got was Vin Diesel calling a guy a pussy before running him over.
From accounts I have heard of the whole movie, my way was a much better viewing method.
Hopefully I'll be able to enjoy the upcoming one as much as I did the most recent
The only F&F I really liked was number 2, I didn't really like any of the others. I don't even remember what happened in the latest one even though I've watched it (guess it wasn't very memorable). Tokyo drift was okay but I really hated the main guy in it for some reason, he was irritating. I guess I'm just not into car racing that much.
I really love F&F's deep and symbolic storylines, and their ability to make me shake my head in awe. I absolutely can't wait for these new installations to bring me more insight into Kantian vs consequentialist interpretations about how sub-waterline nighttime automobile competition and plastic women contribute to our sense of morality and purpose in life.
I love F&F franchise. Some of their movies are kind of shitty plot wise, but the car scenes are really well done. I'll watch it just for the cars and hot girls.

I'd be scared if someone told me they watched F & F movies for the plot and character development.

I will say I'm pissed Michelle Rodriguez died in the fourth one. I really liked her. The show needs a badass female imo. All they have is hot chicks who occasionally drive. Would love to see a dynamic female lead in the franchise.

I agree. Except the first one part. Well, I guess it was ok.
I'm not a big fan of street racing even though one of my friends is a street racer. The first movie was alright, the rest of them were not worth seeing IMO.
Oh man, i'm going to need to get some new tap out shirts, some of those weird caps and wear them backwards, and start talking like I have some mental handicap to get PREPPED for these AMAZING movies!!!!

oh god im gonna get dragged to another one of these...
to be honest though the 4th one was pretty good, but the 1st was the best by far. 2nd bugged me and the 3rd I have to watch since my gf is in love with the actor who plays the main character
First movie: Good action flick, with nice cars and hot chicks. OK plot and such. Second movie: Decent I guess, I really disliked the addition of a partner, but I was entertained throughout the entire ordeal. Third movie: Drifting = awesome, and that kept the movie alive. Fucking hot female protagonist also kept me watching to the end. But the addition of a family just felt awkward, it didn't fit the theme of the movies at all. Also the male protagonist couldn't act even if his life depended on it. ('iz not tha ride, is tha rida...' ) Fourth movie: Oh God. Absolutely terrible, I feel asleep half way through. I honestly don't recall the plot, but I remember it being shitty, along with the acting. The halfassed try to tie the movies together just felt wrong and misplaced. Vin Diesel should never had showed up at the end of the third movie.

There's nothing wrong with an Evo, he referring to kiddies who have no idea what they're doing other than it's cool. Like when hip hop, gangster rap got big, then you got these kids running around:
Oh man, sorta whatever to the movie, actually, I lied, I get sort of a guilty pleasure out of these movies. I'll see it 100%, though months later, downloaded, I dont think I would ever actually pay to see these in a theatre, but their great comedy in their own right. But jeez, those pictures are absolutely hilarious. Had me laughing uncontrollably.

There's a big difference between an Evo and a 1991 hatchback Civic DX. (including 400cc's and a turbo).
Evo = Nice car w/ power and good handling. As long as it's not riced up with decals, ridiculous paint or an absurdly big wing that would be better used as a bookshelf, I don't see how my rant was targeted at you.
Civic = 1.6 lawnmower that was never anything close to a sports compact. Regardless of the amount of silver flames painted on it's side.
Don't get me wrong, I love tuning and motorsports, I'm an absolute fan, but F&F turned tuning into some clownfest full of kids who use their cars as an extension to their dicks, for social status. F&F brought a whole new generation of people to tuning in the worst possible way. It was a retarded depiction of what the scene really is (or was, at least).
I'd rather watch the gumball than this joke of a movie series.
Plus, it created a huge problem of 16 year old street racers who endanger everybody. Go watch the parking and surrounding streets right after the premiere of F&F at a theater nearby, you'll understand.
Then this mass of new retards, through racing anywhere, anytime, with any car turned the tuning world into a negative thing to the eyes of the public. Now we have retarded laws that prevent true car lovers from doing much...
Yeah i totally agree. I love the f and f series even though it has gone a little downhill. Its just something about the stupid movies that makes me happy when i watch them. I also come from a car family.
I don't think ff did much to the street racing scene lol. It existed before and gained a few followers after.

I had the wrench in my hand... and I hit him. and I didn't mean to keep hitting him, but by the time I was done, I couldn't lift my arm. He's a janitor at an elementary school. He has to take the bus to work... and they banned me from the tracks for life.
That's my dad. He was coming up in the pro-stock circuit. Last race of the season, he was coming into the final turn when a driver named Kenny Linder tapped his bumper and put him into the wall at a hundred and twenty miles an hour. I watched my father burn to death. I can still remember him screaming. The people who were there said my father died long before the tanks blew. They said it was me that was screaming.
hahaha another? lol no one takes these movies seriously anyway it's just to go to the cinema and watch a lot of flash cars zoom around doing absolutely unnecessary drifting, vin diesel, that obrian guy or whatever and the hot girls in the movie.
but god damnit Nissan GTR better be in this movie.

Here in Canada they passed a bunch of stupid laws which they got in through the fear of street racers. It has nothing to do with track or street, but has to do with modifications and car specs. Most recent example: they've made right hand drive illegal in my province this year. Most people who import RHD cars from japan arent ricers who street race cars that are about to fall apart. Yet through fear mongering they got the law through. They also passed, in the last couple of years, laws about exhaust systems which the police has been using to prosecute people injustly (the law is unclear and leaves alot to the discretion of the officer, you then have to fight his call in the courts). And those are just two small examples.
Also, F&F did do alot for street racing, all the 16 year olds wanted to be Paul Walker when they left the theatres. It presented tuning as something it isn't.

EXCATLY the same. wow you must be my soulmate or something.
The series are fun to watch and Tokyo Drift was my favorite. I liked it the most since it was centered on drifting and Japan, but those weren't the only reasons. The film felt more thought out compared to 2 Fast 2 Furious. Although it felt like the 2nd and 3rd had equal amount of racing, the choreography of Tokyo Drift was more entertaining (because of drifting of course) compared to drag racing.
"Fast Five," the fifth installment in the "Fast and the Furious" franchise, is set to begin shooting later this year for a 2011 release. Vin Diesel and Paul Walker are already on board and they are about to be joined by another action star.
Deadline is reporting that Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is in negotiations to board the fifth film and is eyeing a starring role. Johnson recently stated that it's time for him to get back to action flicks, which is why he is also working on "Faster" and "Protection."
"Fast Five" is said to revolve around Dom (Diesel) and Brian (Walker) as fugitives being pursued by relentless lawmen. Johnson is rumored to play the head lawman.
Great. Time for a surge in people driving like assholes. Especially in Southern California. Double shoulder seat-belts, bright pink/orange cars, visible "nitrous" gauges and Fire Extinguishers. Only interesting part is how predictably TV and Movies effects the population at large.
Funny thing is, though, my father in law is a auto repair shop manager, and tells me all the stories about the idiots coming in with modified exhaust, red wires on their spark plugs, all kinds of custom bullshit they don't know how to do or payed some idiot to do- and wonder why their car is all fucked up. Tuning your car is in no way like it's shown to be in F&F.
My car is tuned, and you couldn't tell it was tuned until you pop the hood (granted it's a carbon fiber hood but yea). That's how it's supposed to be.

I agree. There are people out there who are ricers, but then there are car enthusiast who mod their cars correctly. What Cursor said is not even true all the time. Just because someone has a performance exhaust, spark plugs, or whatever, doesn't mean they are always idiots. Then are those who are not really into cars and they treat car enthusiast like a common ricer just because their car is louder than a stock. It's really a triangle because car enthusiast hates ricers, common folks hate ricers and sometime associate them with car enthusiast, and ricers are just there lol.
Skyline better be sexy for a 75,000 dollar car. Granted it performs like a car that costs well into the 100 thousands but yea
Shit, even though $75,000 is still a lot of money, I'm willing to bet money that since this car is very limited availability, dealerships are charging whatever people are willing to pay for them. I know because they did the same thing when they released the Shelby GT 500 Mustang.
I wouldn't be surprised to learn that people are paying upwards of $120,000 for one. For that kind of money, you can get a Porsche 911 Turbo S. Hmmm, let's see...Porsche or Nissan...yeah, for me it's a no brainer, and I don't give a fuck about what any of you Nissan fanboys have to say about it.

Well you forgot hot babes...but they do have loads of those don't they. But a nice cohesive story line and not having to get drunk before the movie so that the plot doesn't make you run out of the cinema screaming "WHYYY!!!!???" would definitely be great.

I am so gonna watch this! I love the trailer and it seems they combined some casts of the last movies. So now you got Tyrese Gibson, Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Ludacris and Dwayne Johnson. This will be an adrenaline fest for sure.

From looking at the trailer I'd say it's probably not gonna be disappointing. It looks really well rounded with a ton of stuff mixed in. Guns, crime, heist, racing, badassery, some celebrities that fit very well in the franchise. The special effects stuff looks realistic, can't wait.
I made a "little" write up about the first Fast and Furious and it's possible impact on the creation of Need for Speed: Underground. A short look back at the different Need for Speed's and the hope that this new Fast and Furious movie can inspire a worthy squel to the Underground series.
What I actually wanted to say though was that the popularity of the first Fast and the Furious was arguably a gigantic motivation for the creation of Need for Speed: Underground. A game I truly enjoyed with an excellent sequel. However they have never been able to get back to that exact same epicness. Most Wanted was the only thing that came close (and improved upon a lot of the aspects of the previous titles immensely). But it lacked the downtown metropolis, at night, racing through tiny corners, being able to upgrade everything and choose the brands for your parts etc. It's hard to say but there was just something so special about both undergrounds, maybe it was the time it was released in, but the total game felt so solid, worked so well. It's hard for me capture that total picture of awesomeness since I'm sure a big part of it comes from emotions, but I hope others can relate.
Now after Carbon (potential but to much stupid stuff mixed in and the totally changed gameplay with the corner drifting didn't have a lot of replay value), ProStreet, Shift. (both feel like a bastard child to the arcade style, trying to change the franchise to a simulation) Undercover (was decent but very bland). World (like a bad Most Wanted in MMO form with a terrible grind, horrible crash mechanics/lag, it's free though). And recently Hot Pursuit 2010 (which looks like one of those old games where the roads are almost straight and only bend, not make actual corners) .
I really hope that the popularity of these movies will spark the same desire to create something that is truely worthy of carrying the title of Underground 3.
Although I loved Tokyo Drift, and Fast and Furious was entertaining...neither was particularly well written. I'm hoping the next 32 movies in the series get better.

For the record this is the most brainless franchise ever conceived but the formula of cars, women, guns and explosions = CASH. Look at transformers. Also they shift so much because you have to downshift through certain turns (engine braking). Also allows you to accelerate out out of the curve very quickly. Watch any sort of racing video ( gt500, rally, f1) you'll notice a crazy amount of gear changes.
I thought the title 2 fast 2 furious made sense, because they're too fast and too furious. But five fast five furious? I guess there's going to be five fast people and five furious ones?

No they have the right amount of gears. If you notice though everytime they cut to a shot of a shift they're going into like 3rd gear. I don't think I've ever seen them go past that.

3rd Gear 4 life. Never not be in 3rd gear. Especially in some of the muscle cars in these movies which actually only have 4 gears. That said its hilarious to listen to because they are always shifting into 3rd but the sounds rarely correspond to whatever they actually are doing.
I don't know exactly what it is... But I like these movies. They basically have no redeeming qualities in my opinion but I find myself enjoying watching them. That's what's important I suppose! Especially after the first one the acting and dialogue really leaves quite a bit to be desired.. But hey, they entertain.
so when does this take place since Han is in this movie...I mean the last movie that came out, Han was heading to Tokyo so.....

well I went from liking the movies to disliking them over time. I am pretty damn excited about Han being back though, if this is true, he was my favorite character in the series, so I hope he has a big role in the movie.
This movie is going to be MANLY... It's awesome to see Han back since he was a kick ass character in Tokyo Drift. This is going to be a reunion movie pretty much since a lot of actors from all F&F movies are coming back (I.E. Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris (?), Han, etc). I'm surprised there isn't a lot of ricey looking cars and instead we got pretty normal looking cars (minus mods of course) so far.
Just saw the trailer. Looking forward to a mind-numbing, soul-stirring, fine rear end filled time. Please bring back the black NSX. The one used in the last movie was actually borrowed from an average car-enthusiast from Cali, except meticulously maintained and turbocharged =)
I only saw Tokyo Drift. White guy goes to asianland, gets mentor killed, owns all the local streetracers who are far more experienced, gets the girl in the end. Not only was the storyline suboptimal, but so too was the execution. I would've preferred they just got rid of the dialogue, and everything else. Just show some cool drifting and play awesome rock music. Kkthx, Hollywood!
Gunna be seeing this movie. I loved all the previous ones and while previews can be insanely misleading, I'll probably like this one too. Yes, I like crazy over the top stuff like this :3
edit: The chase scene on the rooftopish area looks like it's from CoD:MW2
brainless entertainment. this actually looks good. its fun going to the movies when these movies release, its like going to a car show. drive and walk safe, there will be idiots.

People take these films too seriously. It's not trying to be the next epic movie of whenever timeline it comes out - it's just driving adrenaline mixed with hilarious awesome shit.

On December 17 2010 21:25 kOre wrote: So whats everyone drive now a days? lol there's bound to be people with their ricers at the theaters on opening day
There was an exotic car show held in the parking lot of the theater I saw #4 in. TONS of R34 Skylines, Tricked out Supras, and other various rice rocket imports. Even a couple Ferraris and I think one Lambo (I do live in a pretty affluent area, so the Italian cars are rare, but not unheard of). I think about 99% of the cars simply had body mods and stuff for looks, but there were a couple of real race cars there. I can barely believe anyone drove those on city streets, I mean totally stripped interiors, racing seats and harnesses, roll cage, the works. Driving over a pot hole in that would literally snap your spine. MAJOR props to anyone dedicated enough to spend: 1) The gas money to drive that car to a theater, and 2)their comfort to ride in it.
Still it was a pretty cool crowd. People talking about their cars and what not. Everyone came out of the movie laughing, obviously knowing the movie was not meant as a literal depiction of driving in a race.
The only thing that REALLY annoys me is how uneducated people are in the car scene. An example would be an average joe calling any Honda/Acura a rice rocket when the car is not even rice. This happened to my friend, who drives a RSX Type S, but is converted to JDM Type R. He parked his car and a group of kids in their Mustangs and BMWs called him a ricer -____-;;
Nice, can't wait for this. Also, I heard snippets of the Slaughterhouse and Ludacris song that's suppose to play during the credits or whatever, it was looking good.

Just saw it. Surprisingly there isn't any real racing in this film. However it does have nice cars, guns and hot looking ladies like the previous one. Story line is pretty standard but considered well done.
I left the theater satisfied, it isn't something life changing, but it certainly not a time waste either. I personally would rate it 7 to 7.5.
This is going to be a cinematic masterpiece. Our generations Citizen kane. I cannot wait to witness the change it will bring to the world of hollywood film making.
This movie looks sooo ridiculous, i'm actually going to see it in theatres because i wanna laugh out loud at the blatant misuse of physics in the chase scenes.

I cant wait to see this movie tomorrow. You are watching it for exactly what it advertises, fast cars and fast women and some star actors in a shitty action film haha. Its just a fun movie to watch
The Movie has an 81 on Rotten Tomatoes right now which really surprised me given how the panned previous movies, and I liked all those (mostly because they were godaweful). This looks like it should be fun.
I haven't seen it yet, but from the reviews, it looks like this movie has finally hit "Shoot 'em Up" status: Absurdity to the point of delight. I am delight.
I feel like something has been missing since 2 Fast. The movies have been less fun and way more serious in tone - it's like going from TF2 to Modern Warfare or something.
Just watched it in theaters and it was super awesome. Sick ass movie and very fun. My gf even enjoyed it and was like.... wow that was a good movie. Def go see it even if your not the biggest fan of the series.
Just saw the movie. Pretty much everything I was expecting. Awesome cars, guns, a fight between Vin Diesel and the Rock. The plot is full of holes and the dialogue is neither deep nor engaging, but that's not why we watch Fast&Furious movies is it? I'm surprised the reviews are relatively high by the movie critics. I didn't really notice anything in Fast 5 that would make people who hate the series like this installment. Whatever, still a great movie to kick off the summer blockbuster action flicks.
I dislike this movie After the initial credits there is another scene so while I'm trying to clean the theater, people stay... Then after everyone leaves the theater, people come flooding in while it's still being cleaned -_- I can't even watch it during a break since the theater is always packed Ludacris pretty funny though :D
I feel like if you're going to go watch this movie, you should be fully aware of what to expect. And if you're going to watch this movie based on those expectations, you should enjoy it. Movie was pretty damn kick ass overall. I liked it.
"Vin Diesel and series producer Neal H. Moritz are already developing Fast & Furious 6,[1][2] which will be written by Chris Morgan.[3] It is slated for an early 2013 release.
Moritz has stated in an interview that a seventh film of the series would be developed."

They went downhill in Tokyo Drift, let's hope they do something new and exciting!
Woahh 2011 has Fast Five and xXx: The Return of Xander Cage.
I thought Tokyo Drift was the only decent movie out of the bunch.
Do you guys have absolutely zero taste? Lol Tokyo Drift as a movie was terrible lol, I prefer asian girls cars going sideways instead of straight lines, but that movie was bad. I think the 4th one was the best of the first four at least.

To reiterate what everyone is saying, movie was awesome and is everything I look for in a movie.
I thought Tokyo Drift was the only decent movie out of the bunch.

trololol
Kill this dead horse excuse of a movie. god the story is so baaaadddd...vin deisel is bald and has a deep voice, we get it, stop making movies now yakthnks
To the people hating on the movie for having a bad storyline... what exactly were you expecting. As far as the series goes, at least this one was had a semblance of a plot. I mean... This isn't American History X or Good Will Hunting, but it wasn't advertised to be that way. I thought it was a pretty damn good action movie. Cars, girls, and Han. What more can you ask for?

Lol, saying someone has no taste for liking one FnF over the other. You have no taste if you found them to be genuinely good films. Theyre entertaining and fun to watch, but theyre not `good` movies.Tokyo Drift was decent, I found. Nothing can be worse than 2Fast2Furious.

Reckless racing FTW! lol lots of riced out cars and some nice ones at the theater I was at. People tried to race me to the light but I didn't do anything because I'm still breaking in my car, can't go past 5000rpm.
I wouldn't count him dead yet. Letty looked like she was completely dead in the 4th movie but somehow she's still alive as seen by Hobbs. Han is also a fan favorite so I'm sure they'll find some ridiculous way to bring him back to life.

No, I think you do love the fact that not many people know about cars so you can talk to them condescendingly and try and show off how much you know. And I can't wait to see this movie, such a cheap adrenaline rush but they've been awesome in the past.
what i dont get it. why do all my friends love this movie. the cars were lame (except at the end ) and the story was lame. talladega nights had better racing.

Because it had explosions, fast cars, hot girls, continuous action, and more! lol

Parts of it are outrageously ridiculous but it's entertaining. I wouldn't call it a great movie but if you want something action-packed with hot female bodies and explosions then it's worth seeing.
I was really hoping the movie could do something creative. Maybe bring it back to the style of the first one, I was disappointed.
This is a warning to anyone who hasn't seen this yet. If you are expecting a "great" movie, then don't watch this. This is a mediocre film in all aspects. I apologize to all the hardcore fans, but this is my honest opinion.

There is barely any racing in Fast Five. It's basically a heist movie, that focuses on the characters as a whole...which is why it's basically more accessible then the past films. It's like one, big happy reunion.
I have a feeling it may disappoint those who were expecting racing, but for most, it's basically the first "summer" action movie of the season and it does that really well. And as has been mentioned before, the after credits scenes leads to an obvious sequel, so I'm expecting more heist movies.
At the risk of sounding like a snob, I personally don't find shit films to be entertaining. I don't get that perspective at all; the 'it's not meant to be super intelligent, it's just entertaining!'. What's enteraining about it? Where is the entertainment in genuinely bad dialogue, acting and story? What about Vin Diesel being in a car that is travelling quickly entertains people? :S All genuine queries, because I do not get it at all.
Yeah I didn't like it. Imo a film doesn't have to be an artful masterpiece to be good, but 'it's just entertaining' validates pretty much any film as acceptable. Even Transformers 2.

HAHAHA...genuine lol.
Just the mental image of a guy sitting in the cinema watching the film with a serious face and narrowed eyes; 'Man...the Rock looks really sweaty.'
i hated this movie. it sucked. I dont like over the top movies based in reality. Its not even close to as good as the first movie. This series is seriously DEAD.
I went in with very low expectations. That said, the movie was pretty decent. It was definitely over-the-top fun, but what bugged me was the lack any actual racing. For a franchise predicated upon street racing, it is absurd that the only race was not even shown. Aside from that, I liked it. I didn't like it as a "Fast & the Furious," movie, but I liked it just as a movie.
Probably the best movie out of the series so far. I was entertained throughout the whole movie and it surprised me how much I liked it. I dunno why people are complaining how The Rock was sweaty throughout the movie since Brazil is a warm and humid location, so it made sense to me. I loved how they brought back so many characters from past movies to make it one big FnF flick. The post credits scene was random (in a good way), but I look forward to how some of the characters react.

Uh no? I was just showing an example to a situation that happened in real life. If you think that, then you're pretty pathetic.

I only watched the last movie once, but wasn't the scene of Letty's death, Dom's imagination? If so, they can use that as a way to bring her back. As for Han... he died in a car explosion with the main character witnessing it lol.

Do you expect people to find entertainment in everything you like? Most people will think Starcraft is "genuinely" boring and a waste of time. What about [randomprogamer] clicking on some units quickly entertains people?
Not everyone wants to watch American History X when they want to watch a movie. Fast 5 was filled with over the top action, and was a "fun" movie and that's what makes it entertaining.
Anyways, the movie was great and any Han scene is welcomed.

It all depends on expectations and opinions.
If you want to watch a movie for mindless action then something like Transformers 2 was entertaining. There are times when I just want to watch a bunch of robots blowing the shit out of each other instead of just thinking about the plot.
There are people out there that are able to do that and as such the movie is entertaining. Same thing for this. You are obviously not such a person and that's fine...but that's what it is.
Went into the movie expecting fast cars and chases and some over the top action. That's what I got and so I'm happy. It wasn't a masterpiece by any means but it did what I was expecting.
The movie was quite good tbh. It's almost as good as the first one. Paul Walker + Vin Diesel together = best thing for the series. Vin should just kept on doing the series instead of skipping out on them.
Looking at that post-ending sequence looks like they might be setting up a 6th installment in germany/europe !
What amaze me in this video is that it was said in every newspaper (atleast the one in my city) that the police would watch theaters exits after night representation of Fast Five during the first 2-3 days. Yet some people still try to pull it off ^^
Watched it with my girlfriend yesterday. We both really liked it, especially that one black guy. Was funny, action packed, and a decent story. 8/10 if you want to go see it.
I would put it as the best out of the 5, even if it felt out of the series and as more of a heist movie. The ending after the ending seemed like of forced to say the least, just seems like they could have gone any direction besides that and seemed more natural, but whatever I'll go watch it.

For some reason, I keep seeing these in theaters. They're so bad...but it's like, some sort of mystical summer timing push that they hit that just snags me.
I think I annoyed the people sitting around me after exclaiming about the corvette being driven off the cliff.
That really didn't bother me. It was more than plainly obvious that the crash into the water was CGI generated.
NO CORVETTES WERE HARMED IN THE MAKING OF THIS FILM.
Still, the very idea of driving one off a cliff makes me sad. Even if it was animated, why did it have to be a corvette and not something like a BMW or an Audi?
So I just saw this movie today. OMG, IT WAS SO GOOOOOOOD!!!!
The action, the plot, the characters, all very very very well done. Now, I've never seen the 3rd one, and I only briefly remember 1, 2, 4, but I know for a fact that the 5th one was just as good as any of the other ones, if not better.
Completely recommended for those who still haven't seen it yet. Hurry! It's almost time for the movie to be taken off the theatres.
Side note: Anyone see that last scene after the ending credits? What do you guys feel about that scene?+ Show Spoiler +
I saw this movie and I find myself questioning why the hell I keep watching them. The series started okay, got mildly good in a bad boys disposible enjoyment kind of way then became serialized same shit different movie.
