Its just something about the stupid movies that makes me happy when i watch them. I also come from a car family. I don't think ff did much to the street racing scene lol. It existed before and gained a few followers after. What in gods name are you talking about haha. What car lover is restricted because of laws due to street racers where you were not limited before. Your statement makes no sense. True car lovers head to the track and race and go for track days, not drive on the street big boy. Here in Canada they passed a bunch of stupid laws which they got in through the fear of street racers. It has nothing to do with track or street, but has to do with modifications and car specs. Most recent example: they've made right hand drive illegal in my province this year. Most people who import RHD cars from japan arent ricers who street race cars that are about to fall apart. Yet through fear mongering they got the law through. They also passed, in the last couple of years, laws about exhaust systems which the police has been using to prosecute people injustly (the law is unclear and leaves alot to the discretion of the officer, you then have to fight his call in the courts). And those are just two small examples. Also, F&F did do alot for street racing, all the 16 year olds wanted to be Paul Walker when they left the theatres. It presented tuning as something it isn't.

I don't even remember what happened in the latest one even though I've watched it (guess it wasn't very memorable). Tokyo drift was okay but I really hated the main guy in it for some reason, he was irritating. I guess I'm just not into car racing that much. EXCATLY the same. wow you must be my soulmate or something.

LOL I think this thread will bring me more pleasure than the film itself, but they are pretty cool I guess.
