F&F started the stupid street racing trend.... kids driving 15 year old hatchback civics with their caps sideways and a stupid muffler that makes it sound like a friggin lawnmower and tons of stickers, fake rims, giant wings (which all obviously add tremendous amounts of WHP).
Hey I take pride in the fact that I own basically the only Evo in the entire city

There's nothing wrong with an Evo, he referring to kiddies who have no idea what they're doing other than it's cool. Like when hip hop, gangster rap got big, then you got these kids running around:
Oh man, sorta whatever to the movie, actually, I lied, I get sort of a guilty pleasure out of these movies. I'll see it 100%, though months later, downloaded, I dont think I would ever actually pay to see these in a theatre, but their great comedy in their own right. But jeez, those pictures are absolutely hilarious. Had me laughing uncontrollably.

There's a big difference between an Evo and a 1991 hatchback Civic DX. (including 400cc's and a turbo).
Evo = Nice car w/ power and good handling. As long as it's not riced up with decals, ridiculous paint or an absurdly big wing that would be better used as a bookshelf, I don't see how my rant was targeted at you.
Civic = 1.6 lawnmower that was never anything close to a sports compact. Regardless of the amount of silver flames painted on it's side.
Don't get me wrong, I love tuning and motorsports, I'm an absolute fan, but F&F turned tuning into some clownfest full of kids who use their cars as an extension to their dicks, for social status. F&F brought a whole new generation of people to tuning in the worst possible way. It was a retarded depiction of what the scene really is (or was, at least).
I'd rather watch the gumball than this joke of a movie series.
Plus, it created a huge problem of 16 year old street racers who endanger everybody. Go watch the parking and surrounding streets right after the premiere of F&F at a theater nearby, you'll understand.
Then this mass of new retards, through racing anywhere, anytime, with any car turned the tuning world into a negative thing to the eyes of the public. Now we have retarded laws that prevent true car lovers from doing much...
Yeah i totally agree. I love the f and f series even though it has gone a little downhill. Its just something about the stupid movies that makes me happy when i watch them. I also come from a car family.
I don't think ff did much to the street racing scene lol. It existed before and gained a few followers after.

What in gods name are you talking about haha. What car lover is restricted because of laws due to street racers where you were not limited before. Your statement makes no sense. True car lovers head to the track and race and go for track days, not drive on the street big boy.
I had the wrench in my hand... and I hit him. and I didn't mean to keep hitting him, but by the time I was done, I couldn't lift my arm. He's a janitor at an elementary school. He has to take the bus to work... and they banned me from the tracks for life.
That's my dad. He was coming up in the pro-stock circuit. Last race of the season, he was coming into the final turn when a driver named Kenny Linder tapped his bumper and put him into the wall at a hundred and twenty miles an hour. I watched my father burn to death. I can still remember him screaming. The people who were there said my father died long before the tanks blew. They said it was me that was screaming.
