Since the max you can lose are 2 cyno frigates per run just count the profit as 40m(- some fuel) per contract). Easy! | ||

Today’s activities begin with an inauspicious start, as Aeth reports that some decidedly unfriendly local pirates are probing down his mission. The Hatchery will, of course, not stand for this, and we set up a clever and meticulously planned trap for those that would assault an innocent mission-running ship. What actually happens is we put a Hurricane into half structure before it jumps gate, cloaks, and proceeds on its merry way (plus obligatory insults in local). Oops. Having a decent fleet up, we proceed to the space of our good friends Fatal Ascension, but not before a wild shitfit Tengu appears/disappears 400 km off gate on the weirdest grid I have ever seen: http://teamliquid.killmail.org/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=10615046 Clearly, I did all the work and Aeth was just a spectating killmail whore. Fatal Ascension appears to be wholly uninterested in a fight so Kwark decides to bait PODLA and friends. Due to certain timing issues, said baited ships manage to exit the field a few seconds after we arrive on grid, at which Kwark starts berating various non-Kwark members of the fleet for not being able to lock ships before dropping out of warp. All in all, morale was low as we go to VFK, home of the Goons, who are fabulously competent and go on to demonstrate their martial prowess in the fight ahead. After some obligatory light tackle poppage (Drakes <3 Dramiels), we warp to station to see what’s up – specifically, a person that thinks it would be a bright idea to aggress in his fearsome Maelstrom after getting peppered by several Drake volleys to half shield. Of course, all sorts of random shit is undocking as this happens, including a Lachesis and a Falcon, the latter of which is the most hated ship in Eve and must be purged from the universe. Both of them vanish quickly as DRAKE JUSTICE is enforce upon such dishonourable ships, and the Maelstrom blows up pretty quickly as well. At some point, Viceorvirtue with his excellent piloting skills has managed to get neuted dry by a Dominix, which spelled certain doom for him except that not one ship in the vicinity happened to be pointing him... I’m not going to complain that he didn’t die in a fire, as he probably should have. Later, “random shit” comes to include a Chimera and a Thanatos, because everyone know you have to undock everything to kill a BC + Huginn gang: ![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/s7uZE.png) (distance obscured because holy shit I’m bad and burned a bit too far from brave leader) The rest of the hour is spent warping from random safes to the station onto fantastically out-of-position ships (manage to kill 2 BCs + an extra Mael this way). To cap off the evening’s festivities some guy decides to welp his Manticore to Viceorvirtue, because the Manticore is the best light tackle ship in Eve. Tonight was a resounding defeat for the Hatchery. | ||
