If I had a competent corp we'd have killed about a bil worth of shit for no losses and I'd be feeling fantastic right now. They were retarded and just charged after us and I had absolutely no trouble evading the lot of them (while being blackbirded) by myself. When I ask the rest of my fleet to attempt the same feat working together after I had already killed the tackle rifter they fail.

Body died to a retarded tengu that was fucking with us because he didn't warp out despite being in low shield and got himself pointed. Was pissed off about that. Then we went to fuck with FA. They got their standard gatecamp up and I jumped into it to test the waters. Was about a dozen bcs, a rifter and a blackbird. I burned off about 100k, killed the rifter, messed up the blackbird and then called everyone else to jump in. I told them to do a standard nano burn off and Chris had a bad spawn and instead of burning back (as he's been trained to do with a bad spawn) he got himself scrammed and dropped. 419 decided that heating anything ever is for noobs and just got gunned down with a cane longpointing him, dying with no heat on any mods at 24k from the nearest thing with a longpoint on him. Body and Jed just gtfoed and I was so disgusted with the level my corp is on that I killed a vaga. We reformed to go for them again, sat on a gate with links ready to go on the other side and told them we were on the gate. Body then burned off the gate to get some loot. We called out as they appeared on dscan and I told the fleet to jump. About 10 seconds later they landed and pointed Body who was just chilling and doing his own thing. Just jump between corps using a private chat channel that you share rather than corp chat for communication. Don't waste your time with merc corps, they're terribad, clueless, have no ability to actually stop hisec griefers and a waste of money. Also if you'd like to actually make some money from missioning I can help. We figured out that most members will drop to npc corps for some time so the hostiles won't have anything to do while we can mine/mission freely. I figured out that hiring mercs isnt a good idea. We got a really good mission runners so we don't need help here, but thanks for the prop ![]() Fly safe o7

Playing with contracts is just like playing with any game's market right? Buy low, sell high. Find mistakes, etc?

Made retarded amounts on contracts, more then all my missioning/exploration/extortion combined. Pandah posted a guide a earlier in the thread, its pretty helpful. The main things you make money on are: 1. Stacking error contracts: anytime you see a contract that says x2, x3 or even more (the motherload), instantly check it against other contracts, if it is an obvious stacking error, snag it. 2. Decimal error: ah my favorite, this requires a little knowledge of the items, but you can sometimes find a 200m mod for 20m, or even better a 2b mod for 200m. 3. Underpriced (or closeout): sometimes people just need to get rid of shit, or don't care to check current prices. This is the buy low sell high mentality. 4. Wrong item buy orders: this is when someone puts a buy order for an expensive faction item, but accidentally is asking for a cheaper item. Of course you need to realize, at any time, there are between 5 and 50 people doing this all over the universe, so you probably won't even see these contracts when you are new. When you get faster you will see them but lose them to people who do this for a living. Then eventually you can just start rolling in Iskies. On another note, man I love that 100MN tengu setup. Think I am going to try it out. I figure if I'm bringing my machariel out to pvp, why not bring a tengu as well!
