Unrelated, What do you all think of the probing changes? (detailed here https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=429367 ) My initial reaction was "You are joking, right?" but after thinking about it for a bit, it might actually be kind of interesting. Thoughts? | ||

No longer with a group of 30 F1 monkeys be able to avoid me and my kiting gang, by warping down to a pounce, then to me at zero- again and again and again, before one of them gets lucky and lands tackle. No longer will I have to worry about 60 man gangs instantly fleet warping to me if i am pulling range and kititng out half of their gang. No longer can an FC control his entire fleet. This means that piloting comes into play, and the average eve player has difficulty choosing targets by range- this will only offer more opportunities for better pilots with superior tactics to prevail against the drooling hordes. This change, along with fozzie sov is going to make small gang great again- and for that I could not be more excited. | ||

I'd be completely fine with even on-grid forced links, in exchange for removing the orbit, approach, align, and keep at range commands (if I played, xaxaxa) | ||
