CCP only does AT once a year, I would imagine it would be around the same time of year (June/July). There are a number of things that went wrong with that match, but it is a sore subject for a lot of people and it doesn't really need to be rehashed here.

No, although rockets are still overshadowed by other small guns (at least in my opinion, as they have better damage projection and raw dps) the Hawk and Vengeance are both very good ships for lowsec frigate pvp. The Hawk in particular is really good as you can dual medium ancillary shield boost fit it for an absurd amount of tank. The Condor is also really fun with the recent t1 frigate buffs, although I feel the Condor isn't quite as good as the Atron or Executioner.

Is there a schedule available for when the next matches happen? We were flying a sensor damp setup, the guardian was armour tanked and afterburning with a low sig so took no damage from missiles but that meant it was slow. We put our damps on it so it couldn't rep anything that was actually near us and just acted as a giant anchor for the team. The intent was then to grind it down if they stuck next to it and web+gank any tackle that went for us (as it would be forced to leave guardian rep range). Every one of our ships was considerably faster than theirs. However the plan failed when Serg decided to just go ram their entire fleet for no reason. The strategy was correct, our fleet hard countered theirs, it's just we were fighting a man down from the outset.

I'm currently trying to decide between going back to plying eve online, or instead using the money to buy GW2. After going back and forth I really haven't decided on a game to nail myself to. On the one hand I certainly like what I've been seeing coming out of GW2 with the gameplay - in addition to future updates that includes GvG fights. But on the other I love how EvE's sandbox economic style plays out and being able to blow up spaceships is always something to be desired. Unfortunetly I just despise how the skill training works in EvE, as to do anything worthwhile in the game it feels as if you need to spend an entire month just training the basic skills (then training more skills that enhance the skills you just trained). Ultimately for me Im trying to decide between structured pve/character progression or a sandbox mmo that is based on player driven content (faction wars, pirating, econ, etc..). Its because of this I really haven't decided yet on which game to pickup.

Its because of this I really haven't decided yet on which game to pickup. The following about Guild Wars is coming from information I got from a friend, so it is not my own opinion. The game is 'fun' a lot more so than other mmo's in that genre and game play style. Altho you can have a blast in the beginning, there really is no sense of community or social interactions. The need for a guild is not there, the end game content is not up to par so it pretty much dries up. I played the beta for a while before it was launched and I have to say that altho I love the dynamic events idea, you will always see something similar to something else the something else you need to kill will have a different name. The WvWvW is nothing new Aion I think had a much better system for that. As for eve, you can create a new character and be most helpful right away. Within a week you can have the appropriate skills to go solo if you like. But with low skill points you will need to make up for with better piloting than your foe. Or you can just hope they are horrible and never fight anything you will have a hard time killing. As for the being helpful right away, you can in just a few short hours become a vital part of any of the fleets we fly, in the form of a suicide tackle merlin. It is a lot of fun and helps you to learn how to fly with us and better your own piloting skills. So my question to you is, do you want maybe 1 month of something new and fun with nothing to aim for... Or do you want to join a community of people, of friends that not only play eve but others together aswell. To be a part of a mostly well oiled machine. To learn how to play eve the correct way. I know which I would pick everytime. + Show Spoiler + EDIT: Also Torchlight 2 is pretty fun

Quick, discount his offer price by 1 mil based on the missing slot, and sell him as many Tristan hulls as he can afford!
