So is there actually PvP to be found in FW or is everyone just milking it for LP?

We keep Tawa chained up in the fw area to honourable PvP people who try to gank us.

For those who didnt know, CCP are going through all t1 ships now and rebalancing them. Currently they are done with t1 frigs which is why you see plenty of frigs that never were used before. They are moving on to cruisers now I think.

From what I have seen (from the amarr and minmatar at least) is a lot of really risk averse players. They won't engage without a massive blob/ lots of recons, but they are pretty awful so with a good gang you can make things happen.

Im looking forward to seeing how the Thorax turns out, good little cruiser for no money, can pack a punch up close and uses drones. I used to enjoy going on cruiser roams in SCE in one of these

I had to wait a little while to sub, but I got paid today and went ahead and did it. Looking forward to playing more, my account has been inactive for the last week or so!

So an update on the tournament, i feel that we should wait until the winter changes if its going to be a t1 frig tournament unless someone wants to help fund a pre-winter t1 frig tournament.

Why would funding be needed? Surely if people want to get involved with the tournament we can all bring our own t1 frigs. Everyone is making money, id be happy to fund my own.

Mandini is going to use the couple billion isk in Spawning Pool wallet to fund the prizes, so that is already covered. I think waiting for winter expansion is fine since it gives people more options. I vote waiting as well. Some of the newbies, like myself, will have more time to put SP into things that might allow us to put up a fight. Plus it'd be a good learning experience in piloting I'm sure.

What I was asking was if we could enter as an individual, and choose which character to use each round, as opposed to using just one character all tournament. I didn't mean enter the tournament multiple times.

I don't think he meant to have multiple characters signed up for the tournament, but just one signed up with the option of using another in place of your original character.
