So no one here actually read the article and decided if it had merit or not, only me; come on guys….except Aomb, who goes off on Mit anyway.
Main Points of the Article that I found: CCP doesn’t seem to understand that people will whine and complain no matter what they do Giving people an easy way to AFK mine is kinda weird Giving miners free tank when they were too retarded to fit tank to begin with, is also kinda weird.
Just ignore the highsec/nullsec hyperbole.

Apparently you can still gank mackinaws very cost efficiently, it just takes more catalysts than it used to. According to some guy on reddit it takes 6 catalysts to gank a fully tanked mackinaw in a .5 system. Besides, I doubt most miners will full tank mackinaws, a lot will probably use untanked mackinaws and hulks. They didn't fit tank before why would they now?

A catalyst can no long solo gank a hulk under concord thus
"I believe that the mining ship rebalance, viewed in the context of the last several major changes to the game, give us a clear view of CCP's true intentions: A plan to transition EVE into a carebear-friendly "theme park" MMO in which PvP is largely avoidable. I also believe that CCP's plan will result in consequences they never intended, leading to the ruin of the game."
Eve is gonna die! CCP is ruining this game, they should never have even touched it! CCP wants no more high sec killing!
Then again people who randomly underline words that arent a fucking hyperlink irritate the shit out of me.
The rest of the article is over flowing with contradictions, poor logical follow through, and a complete inability to grasp that not all interactions in balance are made in a complete vacuum.

Sooo I was trying to figure out where the term "Awox" came from and what it meant, and quickly learned that it came from a character name.
Along the way through google, though, I also noticed that it's an acronym used in the U.S. legal profession meaning "Admitted Without Examination," in that context referring to a lawyer being admitted to practice in a different state from the one in which they were originally licensed, without taking that state's bar exam.
Interestingly, "admitted without examination" makes some sense in the EVE context as well. Maybe the original Awox was making a subtle joke?

Well yes, but at least what he said about how CCP should have buffed power grid/cpu and slot layout instead of just granting amazing innate tank was reasonable.

To fill that empty mid you can add a defensive web.
You need Genolutions & the slot 10 3% turret cpu rig (weapons upgrade)
Genolutions should allow you to change the ACR to an overclocking rig. Overclocking rig + genolutions + slot 10 weapons upgrade implant will allow you to fit a web. if your skills are good enough you could also drop a TE for an IFFA DCU if you want some more buffer.

Also works with AWU 4, don't know if you want to meta the disruptor though. You could also meta the TEs to Fourier and keep the T2 disruptor. Keeps you away from genolutions if you don't want to use them. Was bored so disregard if this is stupid.

Don't bullshit me here. All I'm seeing is that you simply shared a fit your alliance mate came up with, after he said it was really good.
However, that video shows me exactly why I don't want to use that fit. When he got scrammed, the MSE did not help whatsoever. He died to combined fire from multiple enemy ships. Tank or no tank, he was fucked.
Also, his dps projection at ~20km was dismal. He lost out on several kills he could have gotten had he been able to project his dps further.
Funny enough, the fit I came up with (while I agree that there's probably room for improvement), while not having a tank (which coincidentally it does not actually need, since as shown in the video you posted, he dies if he gets too close), it does have much better damage projection at longer range (which would have allowed him to get more kills).
But, hey, it's got no tank, so it must be bad. + Show Spoiler +
One thing I did play around with was using a tracking computer in the midslot, and a nano in the low, dropping a polycarb for a processor overclocking rig. It gave me better agility (by very slightly), and very similar tracking, falloff, and optimal range, but it significantly reduced the capacitor life of the ship. If I found that my capacitor was not going to be an issue in fights (won't know until I see it in action), then I was going to try to make that change.
I do not have perfect skills on my character. I barely have above 10 million SP, most of which is in navigation (I can guarantee that I have significantly SP less than the person in the video you posted). I can fly very fucking fast, but that's about it. In order to win fights, I need to use my piloting skill to make up the difference. To really pull off the MSE fit, you need really fucking good skills (maxed dps and shield skills are a must that I don't currently have). I won't have the skills to pull it off properly for several months.
To make due in the mean time, I need to find a way to utilize my strengths, and avoid my weaknesses in fights. The MSE fit you posted is not going to do either.
I like the idea of adding a defensive web, but if I get close enough to need to defensively web something, then it's close enough to offensively web me, and very close to being able to scram me. Granted it will help in those 1 in 100 times where I do fuck up enough to get into web range, but my own web would allow me to stay out of scram range (or when they don't have a web themselves), and it will also be useful if I do manage to isolate something, allowing me to web them to hit them for much more damage up close, however, I do not feel that it's worth changing my implants for, or reducing my dps/tracking/optimal/falloff to be able to fit that web. Simply put, if I fuck up, I know I'm going to die. But if I don't fuck up, I want to make sure I get that kill.

The Scam: However, adjusted odds are a big deal. The unauthorized individual claims all accounts on somerblink have what looked like an unused Boolean in the database. A simple switch that seemed to always be set to false. They claim that the few accounts with over-the-top isk on deposit had this Boolean set as true. Looking at the odds of the general high end player with a false and comparing that to the odds of the select few with a true found a statistical difference, greater than two standard deviations. If true, it was a huge find. Giving a shill better than normal odds is a straight out scam. It means the house has tipped the odds far beyond what they are advertised as being.
So, confirmation SomerBlink is a straight up scam.

one guy claims to have hacked blink and says he saw things and blink responds denying most of it. theres just no proof either way. either party would have to come up with proof of how the system works before you could say anything about it. I personally haven't been playing much besides some promos lately.

If someone really wants to one could go through all their winners and see if there are any statistically relevant "weird" things going on. That should be possible, shouldn't it?

wow you are one angry little newbro, i honestly didn't link the video to back up my fit, i generally just link pizza vids when they come out here. plus it's not even the same fit, just similar
if you dont want to take my advice i honestly dont give a shit, one more bad RvBer thinking they are good isn't going to stop me sleeping at night. in fact, it usually leads to free kills at some point for someone
keep those midslots empty
