I also find it annoying that once you deplete a cell it doesn't regenerate, maybe its a bug? As for weapon ammo not being too plentiful: I think its balanced the way it is. Anyways I'm loving the game so much that I'm considering to go out of my way to buy it.

I have sniper rifle, I also have some automatic rifle...and still I have to use the basic pistol all the time because I have no ammo for the rifles! My arms have to cost hundreds of thousands dollars, I fly everywhere in private helicopter, but my boss cannot afford to get me couple of damn bullets! It may seem like a small problem, but consider two things - your inventory space is very limited and you can find some modification for weapons. So I ended with heavily modified rifle which took lots of space in my inventory and which I almost couldn't use because there were no damn bullets. In the end I even dropped the sniper rifle, because it was useless thanks to the lack of ammo. Which is quite disheartening because the silent sniper hacker-killer is one of my favourite way to play DE. And it's not like the game is harder with the pistol, it's good enough to take out the enemy you need to, the lacks of ammo just limit your choice, which is a damn shame in a game which is otherwise filled with various choices. 4) Takedowns. They are cool looking...which is good thing, DE was always cool looking, I mean look at JC Denton, trenchcoat, sun glasses and something which resemble lighsaber the most, what's not cool about that? However they are also too energy heavy and worst of all, the aren't silent. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but they always seems too laud and disturb enemies which one bullet from silenced weapon to the head or one paralyzer shot doesn't. All in all, I used them only on very isolated enemy and only when I got one last energy cell left (because it regenerates anyway). I agree with most of your points except these two. I think especially the sniper would be to powerful as the "main" weapon, because you can hide after each kill in this game. I used the sniper for targets which were far away and I still had plenty of ammo at the end of the game. I also think that it's nice that the pistol is the most used weapon. The takedown where you don't kill the target is pretty silent. Only the one were you kill the target makes a lot of noise.

I ended up finishing the 'demo' with stacked ammo, I was overflowing with pistol, combat rifle and sniper rifle bullets. Too much ammo that I couldn't carry. I was also playing the guns blazing type style. I guess more efficient aiming and more exploring will grant the ammo one desires. But at the start of the game ammo is pretty rare

I mean, except for appealing to Gears of War's fanboys...

To prevent the takedown targets from waking up during extended periods of extreme camping action. It would be stupid for them to NOT wake up at some point when they have been neutralized by non-lethal weapons.

My issues so far is that the game doesn't reward stealth enough. There are several rooms I played through so far where I could easily sneak by all the enemies without issue but what about the experience? I want augmentations, but I'm not going to get them by sneaking past the guards like a gosu, I'm forced to using non-lethal takedowns and the tranquilizer sniper to take them down just for the XP. I also found some rooms very hard to do that in.. using the gun, I can easily clear the room, but the enemies are too close to eachother to do takedowns and they see when someone is taken down by the rifle, so there's no way to take them down except possibly spamming tranq darts, which is not how I want to play.

You get a significant XP bonus at the end if you remain unseen through the entire level.

You can't have CoD aim and feel threatened at all as much as DX1 no matter how few hits you can take. Marksmanship upgrades come in the form of a tighter reticle while moving. The game punishes moving while shooting rather heavily. Also the graphics for the leak are unoptimized, and incomplete. So the actual game will look substantially better.
