i am, without a doubt not a huge fan of xcom (1), the pacing felt very slow and methodical at first then it degraded into even slower play that got a bit repetitive. occasional new tech spiced it up and changed the rules once in a while, but that was pretty much it for playing on harder difficulties, for me anyway. i am hoping they change up some things without the need for modding, and it feels fresh again! lots of rogue-likes these days. | ||
