okay one question:
i wanna bet on matches on csgolounge (not trying to earn money or anything, i just like betting on my fav teams and earn some skins i actually want (some ak47 or some knifes or some m4a4)). i am logged in, click on a bet and where i could place my items (skins) it says:

Can't get items. Possible reasons:
- This profile is set to private ?
- Could not connect to Steam servers;
- Backpack is empty.

all 3 are bullshit.
if i wanna trade however, it says the same, but there is a windows above the error message which says:

Retry using steamcommunity public api.

and if i click that, it shows my backpack, everything works and i can trade

wtf ?

your inventory has to be set to public as well as your steam profile (it's in your steam profile settings)

Even with your profile/inventory etc on public, there will be some struggles for it to show. I get that pretty often too, and I just blame it on mix of csgl being high traffic, random site issues.

There are also IMHO a few downsides to crouching that make it punishable. First on top of my head is that you're in a terrible position if you're engaged by more that one guy and you're crouching. I think the main reason crouching at lower ranks is bad is because most people at those ranks don't aim at the head, and their crosshair placement isn't geared towards aiming at the head either. So they run around with their guns aimed at chest height, and when you crouch you basically place your head into their crosshairs.

For recoil control, iirc crouching doesn't improve accuracy (different to recoil) by very much, but for M4 and AK there is a part in the spray where it jumps up by a lot, and I think some people crouch at the right time to offset that.

But I'm only SEM so I could be very wrong

Pretty much correct. To add to the second point, in 1.6 crouching used to decrease the recoil, but not in CSGO.

Why is it so uncommon to bring an AWP to the overpass/bridge at T apps on inferno and AWP CTs that run through CT apps? I've tried this out recently and got several picks on a guy a couple rounds in a row. Not easy as you have to react quite fast but it didn't seem worse than D2 mid double doors. Still I barely ever see anybody try this.

Timing problems (you're relying on having a CT run over from boiler to t stairs instead of from CT Apts to T stairs and you're assuming you can beat them), and if your awp is covering that angle, then the awp is not being used elsewhere on the map like controlling mid or banana. If I was on CT side and there's an AWP in alt mid, I'm happy with that since mid and banana will be easier to control

Oh okay, the timing aspect there I didn't know about. They had one CT running into boiler and up every round for some reason so that made it possible. We played double AWP on T side, I rushed there to get the pick, then immediately went into banana to use it there. The other AWPer was playing mid. Sucks about the timing then but good to know!

im suspecting that the dude was trying to hide in dark room of which you can easily spam him out with firing into dark or nading him out. No need to awp there imo.

OK so i got two questions that might sound trollish or rude, but i don't say it that way, i geniunely wan't to know the anwser.

Why i didn't heard about the game if it was relased on 2013? Im pretty sure on 2013 it didnt have 200k´viewers Wouldn't a game have more viewers when it release and slowly decline after that? What is valve doing right?

And also, is the game as full of cheats, and scandas as the recent dreamhack and now this match fixing thing, and other things as the drama suggest? i have never played a shooter game appart from the consoles ones, but i like them, and im very curious about the CS series but if the game is as full of cheats as it appears i don't know if i'll like it. I want a pretty honest answer here, I know you all like the game, i know you all think this must be the best shooter or one of the best and thats because you play it or watch it, i just want to know how prevalent that kind of stuff is.

Also i hear theres a betting system of some sorts?
