And Guldan just being the mythic phase, where at the end we don't kill him and he flees or something.

+ Show Spoiler + Guldan empowers a revived Mannoroth and Grom is held prisoner by the Fel Lord going by the voice files. And we knew Grom would not actually be a boss fight as per my comment earlier. This is supposed to be the last raid of the expansion if Blizzard is on track. Wether they are tho is anyone's guess at this point. I could see a Ruby Sanctum type raid happening if the next expansion takes to long.

WC3: Kill Archimonde with wisps. TBC: hyjinks with time, have to kill Archimonde! (which, btw, is still the dumbest lore around: the infinite dragonflight was nowhere to be seen in the whole raid). WoD: haha, ultimate dimension. Have to kill Archimonde... AGAIN. Oh, and between TBC and WoD: Archimonde should be 1-shottable by a holy paladin by now given the exponential power curve WoW has been on...

This is supposed to be the last raid of the expansion if Blizzard is on track. I doubt that, why would they release the last raid of the expansion like 6 months after the expansion? WOD was 8 years after TBC, almost exactly. They launched with a tier. Next tier in ~6-8 months, the one after that in another ~6-8 months. That puts you three tiers deep at 12-16 months, then you can release the next expansion at ~24 months.. as always. Earlier is always good. Oh, and between TBC and WoD: Archimonde should be 1-shottable by a holy paladin by now given the exponential power curve WoW has been on... The power curve is actually linear through level 90 now. Raid gear has the same stats as quest gear ![]()

And yes I dont believe they will make it in 1 year either until I see it.

Remember when they planned for Black Temple to be the last raid of TBC or planned for ICC to be the last raid of WOTLK? Fun times fun times

But like Gors said there might be a filler raid due to Blizzard things :D however they might shove in a boss or two, to guide into the next expansion. But yeah with the legendary ring being finished i can't see there being a raid after the next? Especially considering Tier 18 is coming out too, whens the last time we had a 3 tier expansion? XD

Oh speaking of the legendary rings, those procs are the dumbest of the dumb.

Then again....had it before :') On the rings, they are not final right? Or is the MMO post outdated? The legendary rings and procs are here! Don't worry, the procs aren't final. So basically if everyone in the raid has the same legendary ring you get 100% uptime? xD

Oh speaking of the legendary rings, those procs are the dumbest of the dumb. There is no law that says it has to be announced at Blizzcon. Yes they have always done announcements at Blizzcon but then again they had also released intro cinematic at Blizzcon and they didn't do that for WoD.

So basically they are trying to make more money in shorter term, not saying they shouldn't but i am surprised a lot of people still support it.

I remember a fair few bitching about that very thing when it was announced but I guess most people (rightfully) don't believe Blizzard can actually manage to do a 1y cycle so they don't worry about it yet.

Whilst what you say is true, they make more money, it is also 100x better for the players. We are not playing the same expansion for 2 years at a time sat at max level waiting for new content every 6 months to then stagnate on x content for 12 months waiting for new expansion. This way we get WoD style, launch into 4 week wait before raid 1 is released. 8 weeks after that raid 2 is released. Then you get another raid 4 months? probably after that to keep interested and going to then finish off the expansion waiting for new game alot quicker. I know what your saying is right but the player base doesn't lose out, especially now game time can be bought via gold legally, your only paying $40 or whatever every 12-18 months for an expansion seems pretty cool if it increases level cap the content is as good as WoD was/is.

Issue is with spending more resources on new expansions current content suffers as it clearly has with WoD which has very little world content compared to MoP / Cata / WOTLK / BC. 6.2 is remedying that hopefully but i'm still worried about this expansion.
