Well, weapons and trinkets were per-determined. If i look at mail gloves for example, there's pretty much every stat combination imaginable.

Gee thanks Blizzard
As for the whole not last raid thing - Do you really think we'd have an expansion bigging up both guldan / grom and not fight / have interaction with either of them?

Uh? Dungeon gear has random ass stats of all kinds on it, it's just that right after release all the mage specs minus frost were dog shit

The whole personal loot system basically says X Y and Z boss will drop mail gloves and there are like 12 different ones with different combinations of crit, mastery, haste, versatility and such :D
special i700's from last boss would be cool though.
TBC had what, specific epics from last bosses as well as a crafting reagent that sold for a fuckton of gold? Like, 1-5k equivelant in todays economy, i think.

Seeing the cut scene from the last part of the legendary quest line I bet Grom will be a garrison follower.

Why are people assuming we have seen everything of the 6.2 raid? How can you say that Grom/Gul'dan wont be in it?

We have known since beta that Grom would not be an actual end boss fight (they mentioned it when people brought up the fact that both WoD and MoP would end with fighting an Orc dude) so Grom not being a boss in the instance means nothing.
Also sound files seem to indicate that the Fel lord boss has Grom captive so there you go. He is in the instance and his full involvement will remain to be seen.

I didn't want grom as a boss TBH and with the 6.2 trailer I very much doubted he would be a boss - Guldan on the other hand is what i'm interested in fighting.

I would expect Gul'dan to survive the expansion. Setting him up for a return down the line.

Why? Gul'dan is a pretty boring character. He just stands around with his hood on and occasionally talks in an ominous way. I'd only heard the name in passing for lore reasons before this expansion and i'm way more interested in so many other characters

Guldan only got killed when Saregas falcon punched him only being killed by a titan kinda makes me hyped to fight the green fire dude
Also are we placing bets on if Alleria / Turalyon turn up in taanan jungle?

GulDan is interesting to me because he's one of the rare pure evil character in this franchise.

There's hint of random ass dimension travelling silliness about them, like the Inn quest in shadowmoon burial grounds, so you can never know

It's placeholder, the majority of these changes are placeholder I'd imagine given how nice and round most of the percentages are and the fact that a blue said there's a lot of placeholder shit in there.
