Come on man, female orcs, especially with new models, are the best! Only daenei females give them run for their money
Even though dwarves and their beards are the best race in game, I have to agree with On March 24 2015 23:13 bo1b wrote: ...undead warlocks, aka the truest and most perfect class/race combination.
Undead warlocks are awesome.

Anyone got tips? We went with 4 moonkins and it's still pretty tight. 3x fox rotation, melee would swap to second pillar while ranged grabbed the third aside from a few spawn variations. Issue is we only have 3 boomkins and 1 hunter

You can cheese it pretty easily, swapping servers despawns all of the mobs so you can just walk to the location, drop group, and get the item, then repeat for Gul'dan.

If you have high enough DPS then you can just kill the guards which is what I did.

Really? I thought it was still the case even if it was only like a 40dps increase

TBH, I couldn't figure out how to do that since Garona's stealth thing prevented me from using spells.

Uh stealth didnt prevent me from using anything. I ended up just killing most mobs and calling it a day.
Also, i think Khadgar is actually Wrathion.

I'm starting to get bored with WoW again. The only thing I really want to finish is my 3k quest achievement. Also, abgordater stones can kiss my ass.

Call them by their correct name: Alligator Stones.

Wait until the next part, now that's fucking fun. 900 more stones wohooo
Blizzard really needs to take a good look at their "legendary" quest chains tbh

You know what kind of ticks me off?
I worked hard to get my quest done 2 weeks ago, full clears of BRF every week + full work orders. I got my ring before everyone in my guild, and the majority of the server. Now I can't progress it at all and all the scrubs are going to catch up.

Could be worse. You could be in a position to do what I did in WotLK and run the Daily Heroic on 8 alts every day to farm up the Emblems of Frost needed to buy the 25 Primordial Saronite for the Sacred and the Corrupt quest.
Those were a crazy 5 weeks.

Haha, yea that would be worse imo.

It's not much of a legendary chain, just a big list of walls that we have to sit at and wait for the gates to open at
~
1 month since 6.1, i've been using render scale and msaa a lot
the biggest difference by far that i see from render scale is the quality of the text at distance. It's much easier to read and there's far less temporal aliasing on it (shimmering while moving on your screen)
here's a pic of the distance here for reference, it's not far but it's not right next to me either
![[image loading]](http://puu.sh/gP4S3.png)
A comparison of the text from this exact same position, shot at 100% vs 200% render scale (both shots have 8x MSAA applied, too)

That same image scaled 4x with nearest neighbor, if you can't see it well

I'l upload a better pic i think

ever since my work schedule conflicted with raiding the entirety of my WoW gaming has been logging in once a night to do garrison missions.
I guess it's probably time to deactivate. :{
I had a lot of fun in WoD though, while brief, it recaptured a lot of what I missed about WoW after taking a long hiatus since TBC. Met a lot of old friends and cleared some Mythic, not too shabby.

BRF is actually a content worth raiding, I'm glad I resubbed with WoD.

The major issue I have with legendary quests (and WoW in general nowadays) is that they time gate everything. It used to be that if you really wanted something, you could spend hours upon hours grinding and get it before everybody else, or take it slower and do a bit here and then and eventually get it. Now, Blizzard mandates the pace at which you can craft things with daily crafting, mandates the pace at which you can do the legendary quest (with a bonus that variance can swing it 2 weeks in either direction), and even mandates the amount of PvP you can do per week to get rewards.
The reasoning behind it is simply that players that don't have a huge amount of time on their hands shouldn't be massively disadvantaged from people that do. The problem with this line of thinking is simply that I believe that the daily things should create a floor and not a ceiling. For example: my alchy daily gives ~10 reagents and costs 20 frostweed and 10 blackrock ore. Make another crafting thing with no cd that produces 15-25 and costs 10x that. It rewards people willing to put in a massive amount of time, but is so inefficient that people that do the daily only don't fall insanely far behind. Same thing with legendary stuff. Instead of collecting a billion things, make people go through a gauntlet of challenges that are available once a day, but take ~30-45 minutes to do and are repeatable if failed. Stuff like the Celestial challenges for the last part of the cloak quest in MoP or a better version of the Garona quest should be the things involved in a legendary quest, not just waiting 4-6 weeks.
|
My only major complaint about WoD is that dungeons felt like afterthoughts.
The same week I hit level 100 I had enough gear to raid, so the only raid-related reason to run heroics was for the legendary quest. I really miss when guildmates were motivated to do stuff together outside of raids.
