Undead, orc, troll and goblin female don't look good IMO. Tauren fem is good, but suited for stuff like druid and can't be some classes. Belf is belf, kinda alright but a lot of people flock to it wanting non-ugly female characters - and it's the inferior elf race IMO for aesthetics, voicing, animation and such. Nelf female backflip having that 58% chance and flipping during disengages etc is just awesome! :D If you wanna play like a fem orc warrior, i can see that being cool, orc warlock is fitting too (though pretty hard to identify with lol) Racials are interesting, even quite important for PVP* - but they're not really important unless you're literally going for world first mythics, even in a top 100 guild - a racial probably makes LESS difference than buying that one bit of crafted gear from the AH (or even BMAH). We're in a game where DPS has increased by over 100% in the first tier - a 1-2% overall change, even in a burst scenario can quickly get buried. *doesn't bother me at all, since WoW pvp balance and focus is nowhere near where it's worth the effort to persue world rankings IMO - they're having enough trouble making it fun for the 90% to do their thing without worrying about the top 1-5%, with bots and dps/interrupt/etc assist programs all over BG's and the repeated iteration on ashran, hotfixing pvp damage and then rolling it back etc + Show Spoiler + Yrel is cool, so is Barrage :D hotkeys driving me crazy already, gotta spend 5 mins on them | ||

In other news - been gearing up my rogue which I hadn't touched since early cata and it's a lot of fun. Combat is still mind numbingly boring (rip rupture??), but sub is not too bad. It just involves looking at weak auras for a boss fight, but at least it has stuff to do unlike combat. Racials are not as big a deal anymore and are actually really close, often coming down to utility vs .05% flat damage increase or something. It could be the difference in a world first race (unlikely as opposed to the old days IMO), but for the 99.5% - not so much. | ||

BTW, don't waste your time on timeless isle @ 90 - i spent like 2 hours there (knew it was a bad idea by the 20 minute mark but thought it'd be nice for going into draenor, a friend was doing it) grabbing pretty much all of the chests etc and ended up with 6-7 bits of gear.. but 4 of them were replaced in the first 10 minutes of tanaan and the rest soon after lol | ||
