In the real world, out of ~24 mines triggered in our last wipes, 14 were blown up by the same 2 people according to logs -.-

Yea, only butcher, last boss and maybe ko'ragh is harder than last boss on normal. We have NO issue with mines (if people did that they would be kicked lol) and dont detonate them any more outside of uncommon fails, but the second transition phase is very tight

Magically they can actually dodge the twins fire. It's just when the void zones can kill the rest of the raid along with you that they fail it seems. /rant off

It should be zero on everyone, but some people get 50k or even 500k+ from them 18 wipes on H Mar'gok tonight, but butcher wipes take like 3.5 mins average, while these are going to 8, 12 minutes before failure I mean just really, give a condition like don't fail X, 3 chances, remove if fail - we do that for members and pugs alike ATM, and nobody consistently fails the same thing when people are here for 5 (maybe 8) hours to kill the boss they won't really sit around while one person hits 7 void zones (or even 1 every couple of pulls, cause it will wipe you if you do it at the wrong time if you're not comfortable on the fight) gotta decide what kind of guild you are, i don't particularly like the "kick everyone who repetitively fails even when asked to fix/helped etc" mentality, but it's the only one that i can play with for 5 or 8 hours in one raid

Just got through the second transition phase, but never truly recovered - second mage didn't actually die, the pulsy add spawned on the boss etc and we collapsed from aoe damage 7 hour raid :D that makes.. 20 this week?

I've never been in that situation (might depend on how you position the boss) but even if so, there are abilities like leap, blink, anti magic shell, disengage and i think other class equivalents to entirely prevent damage. Since it's a huge DOT, you can also remove it in several ways with stuff like Ice Block. I just pop AMS and walk through the fire to increase DPS with ~5-6 second complete immunity on a 45 second cooldown (because it prevents magical debuffs from being applied, which means you take NO damage, instead of just the usual 75% reduction)

I used it once to try to avoid fire, and sure enough circled directly into the middle of a wave, pre-running right along the length. Yeah I died that pull.

Sometimes the fire seems to stand still so you can't tell where to go quickly or I'm busy healing and notice too late that I'm about to be trapped between 2-3 fire strands and the wall.

I'm usually tanking Phemos so when I need to pull him out for WW it comes in clutch

Mines on Imperator are tough for people to avoid, one of the officers in my guild keeps triggering them cause he's retarded enough to use flying serpent kick to move around without looking. But he's a pretty stupid guy in general, one of those "screw fight mechanics, they lower my dps" type of people, but I doubt he'll be kicked since he's friends with our guild master. On the positive side, I finally got a follower mission that gives me epic 645 item, first ever mission like that, even though I've got tons of epic, high ilvl followers.

Not to mention feint, 50% less AoE and can glyph to make it last 2sec longer and add a flat 30% dmg reduction on top of the 1/2 AoE. I mean Tectus and Imperator are joke fights for rogues if you have improved feint.
