Joined my guilds alt run, 6/7 normal, 1/7 heroic. Not bad!

Up until that run too I had received 0 items from all raid content (maybe 10 kills?). Used all 3 coins, got 3 items overall today.

2/3 on the pets to unlock the menagerie... just Mr. Carrot remains. I don't have the right type of pet for that, so I'm going to take the advice I received a little earlier in this thread and attempt to use the Emerald Whelp + Idol strategy for quick-leveling pets. I just need to raise my whelp another 1.5 levels and I'm ready, I think. Do I have to finish the northrend/cata battle pet trainer quests in order to unlock the pandaria dailies? If so I have a bit of a problem because I also don't have the right type of pets for some of those trainers.

ya u have to do every expansions zone first
but emerald whelp anub idol are so grossly overpowered for pve pet battles that u should not be having issues

Got my Kyanos trink - I'm oblit critting 80k now instead of 60k when it's up (15 sec with 90sec cd) so that will undoubtedly be a huge contribution to burst damage (those numbers are when self buffed, alone)

Once you have the final step you can use that to level the 2 pets for http://www.warcraftpets.com/community/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=4580 which will let you level any pet to 25 is record speed.

For what it's worth, Blizzard has been talking about this one expansion per year release cycle for... six years now? Also those DPS numbers are the same that people were pulling in Mogushan, so looks like DPS will indeed be the same as it was in MOP. Stat squish again next expansion!
