I kinda dont like the engineer weapons. Too much recoil makes them weak at range and more importantly they are completely outclassed by the ACW-R wich is a allkit weapon. Boltactions got a nice buff compared to bf3, more damage, higher bullet velocity/less drop and the ability to zero the scopes will definitely make them easier to use and maybe even usefull. Cant say much about supression yet but it feels different i would even say better than in bf3. Im pretty shure it just adds sway, recoil and blur but not more deviation (atleast not as much as in bf3) I played a couple rounds in the AH as gunner and even if im not a experienced AH guy i noticed a couple changes that will influence the gameplay. The limited ammo for the gunner will definitely force them to be less spammy and make more strategical decisions on what to attack. The Chaingun also has recoil, the bf3 one didnt when TV missile was equipped wich was a bug that was never fixed. If they fixed that bug then the gunship style hover helis will be a lot less effective wich is a good thing, since it makes the pilots job a lot more interesting. The pilots rockets rape tanks hard! Open Beta starts today and i hope we get a new map or obliteration, battlelog shows a MAA in the stats screen wich could mean we get a map that includes a MAA during beta. Personally i would love that since im a huge MAA whore and cant wait to see what tools DICE will give me to make flyboys cry. | ||

They really nerfed the vehicles with the ammo so they cant just spam anymore which is great, since it makes for very nice fights especially when the helicopters go behind tall buildings and such to buy time for their ammo to come back. Flares are kinda iffy now the missle may or may not hit, I've hit a lazed target through the flares before I dont know if that is intended like it was in BF3, since it actually says Target Lost on the recon side when they flare. | ||

Tell me what the point of having stingers as an unlockable gadget is if the rpg does the exact same thing, but more and is a stock gadget to boot. Dice should just give us the AT4, remove lazing for rpg's. That way, you're presented with 3 good choices based on what you feel your team needs. Both the rpg and AT4, depending on skill, can also perform the stingers role, a tradeoff. People need to realize that it isn't balanced in the greater scheme of things if all it takes for an incredibly limited asset such as a chopper(usually only 1 per team on most maps) to be destroyed or just rendered useless. is 5 seconds of time from 2 infantrymen that don't even have to make the conscious choice to equip items that are made for countering air assets. Engineers and recons literally have to do nothing they wouldn't already be doing, which is what's so wrong. | ||

I've played 7 hours today of mostly camping the C skyscraper with a squad of recons and engineers. Helicopters stand zero chance, warning sound or no. Even the ones that pop flares get destroyed right after or are forced to hide and remain useless. It's beyond overpowered and has no downside. And weapons having almost no recoil is pretty stupid. Infantry gameplay now is just aim and hold down the button until target is dead. | ||

Playing without having 2-3 people in a squad is just a waste of time to me. I was up most of last night because I couldn't sleep, and around 3-5am there aren't a whole lot of other people besides NA people online. | ||

I think the Laser-Sight/RPG combo is pretty neat, albeit a bit OP. Graphics look pretty good. I don't like the map, camping on elevators, roof galore for snipers, it's just awkward and unpunishable unless you go Sniper (and even then; it's still awkward and long to reach them). I found Sniper rifles were a bit too easy to run-and-gun too. Guns are a bit too easy as well, I spray and pray and I always get multiple kills when I shouldn't. | ||

The map gets far shittier when the skyscraper crumbles and there's "dust" everywhere. As a sniper you end up shooting at triangles instead of people. The worst part is that it works very well. Try spraying and praying with the stock support weapon the u100 i think it is? It's fucking horrendous. | ||

That's typical of modern shooters nowadays...it's just point and click. In BF3, all I would do is just point and click since positioning is more important in pubs. Hell, I don't even know how I get decent scores/skill just by spray and pray with most weapons, and I play with a 30% disadvantage due to having a 4:3 aspect ratio. | ||
