Wow Knicks might not match Lin. Stupid Houston probably don't even want him anymore because of the Howard situation but they only did that to try to screw over the Knick's cap space, and now NY is backing out? Hmmmm

The Knicks are really going with the veteran lineup, bringing back Camby & Kurt Thomas from the 1999-00 team lol. I think grabbing Felton was a good move, unless he plays as mediocre as last season. It's actually a shame they let go of Jeffries (again lol) He did very well for off the bench defense, though he was kept out of the playoffs due to his knees.

Knicks are going nowhere. Lin, Jefries and Fields were doing great and made the winning spree happen in february. Now they are back with Melo/Amare, black hole ball and spotty defense. Looks like first round playoffs for the next couple of years until they finally break this up. I mean apart from the time Linsanity happened the Knicks looked horrible last year.

Why would the Rockets not want Lin with Howard? Lin is 8 mil per year and they don't really have any other players that take much of a salary if they trade for Howard. There is enough room. Even to absorb some bad contracts from the Magic. Lin + Howard Pick&Roll shouldn't be too bad either.

If the knicks don't match they will only have 1 player under the age of 25 on the roster: Iman Shumpert. No future with this team, keep on trading away draft picks like they're allergic to them. This 3 year window is it all or nothing

Good moves? Felton just had the worst year of his carreer and 3 fossils are not gonna help them get past first round in the playoffs with this roster. With fields they lost a slasher and their primary wing defender and Jeffries was pretty good for the intangibles.

I understand that they don't want to overpay Lin and Fields but they aren't even close to being a contender like this. People keep forgetting how awful the Knicks were without Linsanity last year.
