Very seriously some of the best Square-based RPGs ever made still today. What makes it so special is it's pioneering in monster capture and breeding systems, and furthermore a very nice battle system (The sound effects aren't bad either ;p). I would recommend these games to anyone who enjoyed Pokemon, or enjoys Final-Fantasy-style Game Boy games. | ||

This probably isn't really 'hidden' either, but it's better than listing a game which only has nostalgic value. | ||

I'd strongly recommend it to anyone liking RPGs with turnbased combat. Has an awesome dark atmosphere(Though the sequel is the exact opposite), an amazing soundtrack and fun combat. I've got triple digit hours of entertainment out of the game and would strongly recommend it.
